Zion’s Tiny Getaway is Southern Utah’s unique basecamp near Zion National Park. Stay in handcrafted tiny homes with private decks, BBQs, red-rock views, and star-filled skies. Many homes offer private hot tubs, and select units are dog-friendly. Enjoy world-class mountain biking on Gooseberry Mesa, Sand Hollow adventures, and nearby hiking trails. The perfect escape for Zion explorers, riders, and desert dreamers.

The Space:

Welcome to Jasper(#14), a light-filled tiny home at Zion’s Tiny Getaway - your basecamp for red-rock adventure, starry-sky nights, and unforgettable Southern Utah moments. Designed for comfort and connection, this spacious retreat blends modern finishes with a relaxed desert vibe, making it perfect for families, small groups, and adventure-ready travelers.

Inside, Jasper offers a thoughtful layout that sleeps up to six. The loft features a cozy queen bed (ladder access), while the main floor includes two twin beds and a comfortable sofa bed in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, cooktop, sink, coffee maker, and essentials for easy meals after a day on the trails. A full bathroom with shower, smart TV, Wi-Fi, AC, and heating ensures you’ll feel right at home.

Step outside and take in the desert backdrop from your private deck, complete with a hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor seating - perfect for sunrise coffee, après-hike relaxation, or stargazing under the Milky Way. Guests also enjoy free parking, EV charging, and access to the playground and shared park amenities.

Jasper is close to world-class hiking, mountain biking, and Southern Utah’s most iconic landscapes - Gooseberry Mesa, Water Canyon, Sand Hollow State Park, and Zion National Park.

Your adventure starts here.

Before you book: Part of the tiny home charm here is the sleeping loft, reached by a staircase or ladder with a cozy ceiling height. It is not the right fit for everyone. If you would rather skip the stairs, several of our homes have the bed on the main floor. Just filter for Bed on Main Floor under Amenities.

Guest Access:

You’ll have full access to your tiny home, the outdoor deck, and convenient parking directly beside the unit. Feel free to explore our shared park space, enjoy the wide-open desert views, and plug in at our on-site Tesla charger. With endless public lands just steps away, adventure begins the moment you arrive. If anything comes up during your stay, we’re only a message away and happy to help.

The Neighborhood:

Zion’s Tiny Getaway sits in the heart of Southern Utah’s canyon country, where red-rock cliffs, open desert, and dark night skies create a stunning backdrop for your stay. Our tiny home community is located just off Highway 59, so you may notice some road activity as you arrive - but the homes back up to sweeping red-rock views and a quiet residential area, offering a peaceful place to unwind once you’re settled in.

Apple Valley itself is a small, rural desert town with virtually no light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing. You’re also a short drive from the larger hubs of Hurricane, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona, where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and all the essentials for your adventures. With Zion National Park, Gooseberry Mesa, Sand Hollow, and countless trails and viewpoints within easy reach, this location puts you right in the middle of Southern Utah’s best scenery and outdoor experiences.

Getting Around:

A car is the best way to explore Southern Utah’s wide-open spaces, and you’ll have convenient parking right beside your tiny home. Bikes are absolutely welcome - this area is a dream for riders. Gooseberry Mesa, one of the world’s premier mountain biking destinations, is just a quick 6-minute drive away, with miles of trails and public lands to discover. Whether you’re cruising scenic highways or hitting desert singletrack, adventure is never far from your door.

Other Things to Note:

Most guests visit us for Zion National Park, but Southern Utah offers far more than one iconic destination. From our tiny home community, you’re within easy reach of some of the region’s most breathtaking landscapes: Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon North Rim, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Sand Hollow State Park, Snow Canyon, Gooseberry Mesa, and Pipe Spring National Monument—all roughly 20 minutes to 2 hours away.

The area is a playground for outdoor lovers, with endless opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, boating, sand-dune adventures, swimming, stargazing, and scenic photography.

A can’t-miss local gem is Water Canyon, just 20 minutes from the property. This free, beginner-friendly hike leads through towering canyon walls to a beautiful waterfall—an unforgettable experience before or after your Zion adventure.

Your stay at Zion’s Tiny Getaway puts you at the center of Southern Utah’s best trails, viewpoints, and desert experiences, making it the perfect base for exploring the region.

This was absolutely perfect. The hot tub was the perfect spot after a long day of hiking to relax and look at the stars. Three of us fit comfortably and the beds were amazing. We also had all we need to grill out and make breakfast. Such an easy way to spend a long weekend near Zion.

Small piece of heaven close to Zion and other attractions. One of the best hot tubs I've used, super comfy beds, and a skylight above your bed to take in the night sky as you drift to sleep. This place has it all!!!! Down to the memory foam pillows, the personal firepit, and grill; they have put loads of consideration when designing and maintaining this wonderful base camp for your Zion adventures!!!
