We had a wonderful stay at Dillon Beach. The beach house was clean, the ocean view was great, and it was an easy walk to the beach. Our host, Linda, was welcoming.

Wonderful property in a fabulous location with all the necessities. Beds were very comfy with the softest sheets ever! Communication was also very helpful up to and during our stay. 10/10 recommend.

Nice neighborhood. Great ocean view from the rear balcony, especially at sunset. Lots of wildlife (deer, owls, raccoons). House was simple, clean, all the essentials.

The rental was clean, well-equipped and a short walk to the beach. Also, it has an ocean view out the dining room window. Having said that, the view was somewhat compromised by a telephone pole and lines. This was erased in the photo in the available photos of the property.

Not good for elderly. Stairs too steep to main floor and only one bath on bedroom floor so commuting steps was many times per day.The house was not very well decorated. Nothing matched and some deterioration on things that could have been done. Bed was comfortable. Also we paid a whole bunch of extra fees ( I think around 500 and I am not sure what that was for) We were required to do a lot more work to stay here rather than a hotel. All the cleaning, dishes, trash removal, etc. Didn't seem to be worth it for the extra fees.

The house was very clean and easy to get to. The location worked great for us because we had family camping at Dillon's beach, but we did not want to camp. This allowed us to be close enough for all the fun but had all the convenience of a home.

We did not know the house was two story. I'm 82 years old and my wife is 78. We brought a box of firewood that was difficult to get up the stairs. I find it difficult to believe that there were no bars to hold on to in the shower. With people our age it is an accident waiting to happen. For the owners the liability issue is serious. The t.v. screen was smaller than the screen on my computer, but the service was the worst I've ever seen. Spend a buck and get something decent. We ended up not taking our dog and I informed Linda of this about two weeks prior to our departure. She said we would be reimbursed after the trip. It was a bit difficult having the bathroom downstairs. The weather was good.

The location is great - the home is dated- ok-but out of all the locations we have stayed at, this one was minimal. No extras- no coffee - no shampoo, etc. the sheets were cheap micro fiber. Wouldn’t go back.

Perfect little spot for a little weekend getaway. Walk to the beach was not too bad and definitely worth not having to wait in the line to drive in. We ate at the little cafe a couple times and it was so yummy! We hope to be back next year!

This house is an absolute vintage ocean side cabin treasure. My girlfriends and I did a quick two night trip to Dillons Beach in August. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs while the common areas are upstairs. This was perfect for anyone that wanted to go to bed early or sleep in late without being disturbed. The beds were very comfortable! We will definitely come back for a longer stay in the future.

The GOOD: Home adequate. Beds comfy, loved fireplace. The BAD: Have rented several homes at Dillon Beach over the past 10 yrs and am a bit persnickety because I owned a company that did rentals and did it very well. The back yard had several inches of straw that our dog had to almost swim in to use and did not like that at all. Also ended up with itchy paws, that transferred to me with a weird rash. Who knew I was allergic to straw or was it something else? Similar to poison oak, which I was nowhere near during stay. Never had any kind of dermatitis reaction to anything except poison oak, so that was weird. Thankfully, it was minor and is clearing up. Second, the highly scented laundry soap permeated the whole home. Especially the bedrooms, where we had to sleep with windows open. Apparently, nobody got the memo that most rentals are using unscented laundry detergent because many people are sensitive to that. This is the first I have encountered in years. Last, we had to drive to Petaluma for kitchen supplies because there were no baking sheets, no storage containers with lids or anything that could be used to store food. Not one sharp knife. We purchased these items and left them behind (you’re welcome) because that really sucks—this was the most sparsely equipped kitchen we have ever encountered in a rental and don’t appreciate having to take half a day out of our vacation to purchase standard kitchen items.

Perfect location! The beach is just a walk away, you'll meet friendly dogs running happy and wild. The beach is private, you can walk to the beach anytime while you're checked in this location. The beach is nice- sandy, big wave at times and if you like a nice long walk, this is the place. The house is perfect as well. Clean and just as listed, we brought steak and what not. It was too windy to use thr propane grill. The stove and oven worked out just fine. Response from property manager was prompt. There is a little grocery store a block or two away from the house. They sell souvenir, wine and things youll need to make food, sandwiches, wines and beers etc. Go here, you might not want to go home! We had a fabulous time this weekend. Thank you!!
