We had a wonderful stay at the Helen Louise House! It is a charming home with many special touches! And the backyard is beautiful and peaceful, with many species of birds to watch. It was a perfect place to stay!

We absolutely loved the back garden! The gardens were enjoyable and the bird feeders amazing! We particularly loved the flying cats!!! The sparrows gave us quite a show flying in and out feeding their chicks.We will come back!

Our stay at the Helen Louise House was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The home decor is lovely and thoughtful. The outdoor space is welcoming and peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again. 5 Stars all the way! Thank you, Beth.

The house was absolutely charming! Everything was neat and tidy but the amenities were fabulous! Our host thought of EVERYTHING: extra toothbrushes, corkscrews, soft throw blankets to sit on the couch with a cup of Joe, coffee, and the list goes on and on!

The little extras were a treat such as the Christmas decor, coffee, snacks, wine, bathroom essentials and more. A lot of thought went into making our stay comfortable. Thank you.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood and close to town, parks, and wineries. The kitchen is large and had all the utensils and pans to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The three season porch was really nice to sit and relax. Bicycles are provided but we needed another day if we were to use them. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped. This is a very nice home and we would stay here again.

What a treasure! Beth, the host, has literally thought of everything! I’ve never seen such a well appointed house. Plus, it’s quiet, lovely garden and so comfortable. We loved this cute place!

Perfect location, the only glitch was the coffee pot wasn't working, it took 35 minutes to make 4 cups. Just a minor thing and not a deal breaker!

I had the perfect stay at a wonderful house located in an ideal neighborhood. The attention to detail was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the beautiful backyard, along with the lovely sun porch, added to the charm. There was plenty of space in the living room, making it an overall fantastic house. The pictures don’t do it justice; it’s even cuter in person! I highly recommend this house and will be staying there again. The owners were amazing—easy to contact and truly the sweetest people. I appreciated them!

This was the perfect place to reconnect with friends. The 2 beds and 2 bath was the right size for the 3 of us. The screened in porch made for a great place to relax among the serene setting and have catch-up conversations. The house was very homy, comfortable and nicely updated. We loved having access to bikes ready to ride and enjoyed touring the town on them. Beth, the host, was great to work with! We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I and another couple took a quick weekend trip to Fredericksburg. We travel a lot and have stayed in many different homes. This was by far the best we have ever stayed at. The personal touches were awesome and the comfort of the home was perfect. If income this way again I will definitely stay in this home again!

This is our second stay at this outstanding home in a quiet neighborhood. An easy bike ride to all downtown venues or walk if you want to work off all the German food and barbeque. The internal and external amenities are absolutely outstanding making our stay so easy and comfortable. The second bathroom was great for our party of four.We will recommend this home to all our friends/family and look forward to a return visit next Winter.John and Pam

We're a young senior couple and a young senior friend (we feel young') enjoying a weekend of relaxation and fun in Fredericksburg. We have stayed here before and thought the accommodations were perfect. The location is ideal for us--just a minute up the road from the Rockbox and downtown. In all, a very comfortable and clean place to stay.

This property is excellent in every way. Clean, neat, nicely appointed two bedrooms and two baths. Everything provided to insure the comfort and convenience of the guests. Highly recommended!

Well maintained clean home that is stocked with everything you need for a short term rental. Beth even included snacks, sodas and a bottle of wine! Loved the large bottles of toiletries in the shower and complementary coffee, tea, sugar and creamers. Sitting on the back porch is like being in a park! I definitely recommend this adorable cottage in a beautiful neighborhood close to downtown. This place is a winner!
