Orleans, Massachusetts
Location, location, location!
This charming two bedroom beach cottage, which was fully renovated in 2018, is ideal for your Cape vacation. Nestled on a private road, this little piece of heaven is conveniently located to literally everything the Cape has to offer: Robert’s Cove (a 2-minute walk down a nature trail); Nauset Beach (a 10-minute bike ride); Skaket Beach (amazing sunsets); Cape Cod Baseball (Orleans Firebirds); World Class Fishing; Town Center; and the Famed Cape Cod Bike Path! Or, if you’re looking to explore outside of Orleans, you’re a quick 10 minute drive to Chatham and a less than 30 minute drive to Provincetown!
With plenty of space for a small family, this sweet cottage has two Bedrooms (master has a new queen-sized mattress; guest has a bunk bed, each with a new full-sized mattress); a remodeled and open Kitchen with all the essentials (new appliances, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc.); a Living Room with vaulted ceilings, plenty of seating and new electronics (Flat Screen TV, Surround Sound, BluRay, Cable and WiFi); and a large outdoor living space, which offers plenty of seating to enjoy the sunsets, as you listen to the sounds of Nauset’s waves rolling in!
Additionally, there is an outdoor shower; new Weber grill; split A/C (like central air); washer/dryer; all new furniture (inside and out); a lovely deck overlooking the gorgeous landscaping; and a large community yard, which offers plenty of space for kids to play outside!
The neighborhood is in East Orleans (ocean side), just around the corner from both Mill Pond and Snow Shore, which is perfect for biking, as it’s safely away from major roads – however, as noted, a quick two minute drive/short bike ride to Orleans town center, which offers endless amounts of restaurants, cafes, shopping, bike rentals, surf/kayak rentals, the marina, a large Stop & Shop and much more!
Sorry, no pets. Additionally, no trailers/boats allowed. Lastly, as with most Cape summer rentals, blankets and pillows are provided; however, guests must bring their own linens (unfortunately, cleaners do not have enough time during changeover days to wash sheets).
*Please note: all bookings for June, July and August must span Saturday-Saturday (7 days). During the Spring, Fall and Winter, our minimum stay is 3 days (changeovers can be any day of the week).
This is a wonderful cottage nicely located close to Nauset beach. The cottage is cozy and well maintained. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful flowers/ plants.
Beautiful, well kept property in prime location. Welcome book had detailed information on local restaurants and beaches. Only complaint is the water heater ran out of hot water quickly.
John is a wonderful host and was genuine, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The cottage is in great location for those who love the Nauset area. Would definitely stay here again!
Cute cottage with everything you need, but beds and pillows were covered with plastic underlayment- could use some more comfortable alternative. No linens or towels were provided, but that was clearly indicated in the description. it would have been nice not to have to travel with those items.
The perfect weekend!
We had an excellent stay at this property! It was perfect for our little family of four (2 kids under 5). The location is close to town and several beaches - we hit a new beach each day of our stay! John was super responsive and helpful and the checkin process was simple. The house was very clean and so cozy, and although a cottage, it was stocked with everything we needed. I wish I could pick it up and bring it everywhere my family takes vacation :)
Wonderful place for our family vacation on the cape. Convenient location to beaches, hiking, biking, and many other area activities. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and host was easy to communicate with. Great place!
John was a wonderful host. The cottage is in a great location that is really convenient for many Cape adventures. We were able to make it to a few beaches, shopping, whale watching, drive in movies in a short car ride. There also lots of great food options in Orleans and John had wonderful recommendations that we tried. Check in and communication were easy. The cottage has a porch and access to the grounds which provide a peaceful scenery for morning coffee. Would definitely recommend the cottage as the perfect Cape getaway.
We had such an amazing time. Cottage was perfect! Location was great. Owners were great hosts. Cottage had everything you would need. Lovely deck and yard to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again!
Small but great property with a gorgeously landscaped yard that was perfect for kids to play outside. Great recommendations from the host on restaurants and activities. We went straight from his list and enjoyed them all! Wish we would have stayed longer!
Our family really enjoyed this home!! Perfect for a family of 4. The AC & the heater worked perfectly considering we had to use both during our stay. ?
First, the host was kind, courteous, and easy to communicate with. The cottage was situated in an ideal location with lots of space for the kids to play outdoors. The cottage itself was small, but very quaint, clean, and cozy. It was very well maintained and had all the kitchen amenities. We were able to cook, and enjoy coffee in the morning. The one bedroom came equipped with bunk beds, which my kids loved. The beds were all comfy including the one I slept in. The only thing that was difficult was bringing our own linens. It was just tough finding space in our vehicle with all the added luggage and beach items. I knew this before our trip, but we managed just fine. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back again!
The cottage was just a really nice, clean and quiet place to call home while on Cape Cod for the first time in over 20 years. It had everything I needed for my stay. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was perfect. The shower was awesome! The deck and yard were welcoming and relaxing. A quick walk down the road and a few trails takes you to a scenic cove. I believe that one could kayak or paddleboard from the cove over to Nauset Beach, but I didn't have the time to find out. The owners were very friendly and responsive to the vrbo booking and messaging. I fully recommend this vacation rental for vacationers who don't need a large inside space, and are looking for a comfortable home base while exploring and enjoying Cape Cod. Cheers!
The cottage was so cute and cozy. The owner was great and responsive. I didn’t realize the no linens until after booking but John helped me out with sheets and towels. The outdoor shower was great, I loved it!! The Cape was a new area to us but John helped out with tips and suggestions, enjoyed our stay.
This cottage is a gem - immaculately clean inside and out, efficiently well appointed and quite comfortable for our family of three. We particularly enjoyed the quiet relaxation offered by its outdoor spaces and the short walk to beautiful Robert’s Cove. The location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to explore on the Outer Cape, but the pull to stay put and savor the serenity of the cottage was strong. Would definitely book a longer stay on a return visit. Communication with the owner was superb. Thank you!
