Stayed Aug 2, 2025House could definitely use some updates, the tile before the shower downstairs was caving in and the holes in the stairwell out the back cause some concern for our older family members

Stayed Jun 28, 2025All 9 of us stayed here comfortably and we all loved it. Perfect location- just a short walk to the beach (Short Sands) and to town, including York Wild Kingdom. My toddlers had no trouble with the walk.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024We have not received our $500 security deposit. It has been 6 weeks since our stay. I have emailed the owner twice but have had no response regarding our security deposit. We have been renting houses in York for many years and have never had this issue. The house is old and in need of updating but everything was working.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023This cottage is well located near the sand short beach as written, kitchen is well equiped (but miss a lobster pot), home appliances are also recent and work well. But very desapppointed that this is NOT for 12 guests, only for 11 persons. The room with the sink only have one twin bed, not a double bed as described. So, we had to buy a pneumatic mattress during our stay. The owner never aswer me back about that when i wrote to him during our stay. The house in general is not in good condition, need a big cleaning and furnitures are very used.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023Old, said would sleep 12, only had beds for 11, a single bed was in one of the bedrooms that had shown a double bed.

Stayed Sep 9, 2022Myself and 8 other ladies had a great girls weekend here. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch when we weren't @ the beach or shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 31, 2021House was close to the beach and shopping. Owner communicated with me over a year ago. Check-in smooth and house had plenty of room for 12 people. Large front porch was the place we hung out and spent alot of our time. Back yard great to BBQ and play yard games.
