Stayed Aug 20, 2025The photos of the property certainly did not match what we were presented with upon our arrival. The house is cute and has potential, but it needs a lot of work before it should be rented out. The basement is covered in black mold. The basement bathroom is very unclean and the toilet seat was very broken. The upstairs bathroom shower you can't stand in. The ceiling is too low. The hosts belongings are around the house, making it feel cluttered. The kitchen had old rotting food in a drawer. The fridge and stove were not clean. There were notEnough pillows or blankets for the beds. We had 5 towels but no face cloths. There was no toilet paper in the house. We managed ok for the few days we were there but were very happy to move on and continue our travels. We've stayed in many VRBO's and this was by far the worst experience we've had to date. This being said, the host was readily available and did tell us where we could buy certain items needed that weren't available. I think this home should be reviewed by VRBO prior to renting it out anymore.
