We loved our stay! It was a beautiful home with so many extras to make our stay wonderful and comfortable. Our host was so nice and answered questions about parking etc. We were in town for a wedding weekend and the location was perfect.

One of the cutest and cleanest VRBO’s we have stayed in! Great location! Property host thought of every little detail and was very communicative. Snack basket and bottle of wine was a huge bonus! Highly recommend Cypress Cottage!

We found that Cypress Cottage in McKinney, TX met our expectations in every way. It looks exactly as pictured in its photos on VRBO's website. Its three luxurious bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds and two fully appointed bathrooms helped us relax during our busy weekend stay. The dining room with its exquisite round table located directly off the kitchen is perfect for enjoying a meal or playing a game of chess or cards. The cheery, pale yellow kitchen with its vintage silver pressed-tin backsplash is fully equipped with whatever tableware, plates, glassware, kitchen gadgets, and cooking utensils are needed to prepare a full meal or simply snacks. The ample living room with its big screen Smart TV easily provides comfortable seating for 1 to 6 guests to be entertained by a movie, while the smaller sitting room next to it is the ideal spot for more cozy chats. Cypress Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood only a few blocks from McKinney's historic Chestnut Square where we spent 4 entertaining days shopping and eating at its great shops and restaurants during our stay. Cypress Cottage is very well-kept and in pristine condition. We particularly liked sitting on the lovely front porch in the morning to enjoy our coffee while watching neighbors with their dogs out for a morning stroll. Stayed for two days to host a friend with her daughters and it was fantastic. The place was clean and well kept. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a bucket of awesome snacks. All rooms were clean and cozy, will stay again!!

I brought my 1.5 year old daughter to stay to visit family and the owner offered to have a high chair ready for us! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the shade looking at all the beautiful plants and it’s a very convenient location. Kitchen had everything we needed and the host was very helpful.

From the moment we stepped into the house it was welcoming and cozy!! The owner has thought of everything!!! So much thought has been put into this property, if you forgot something, no worries it will be in the house!! We went for a family event and my mother who doesn’t travel much thought this house was a perfect spot. We can’t wait to get this house for our future stay to the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

This home is amazing. It’s full of character and just absolutely charming. We arrived and were greeted with fresh flowers and a snack basket with a bottle of wine. It was a perfect welcome after traveling. The host is absolutely wonderful. She put so much attention to detail in every single room. There was a nice book selection, and lots of cozy spaces to sit and read. Our kids quickly found the game selection. We had so much fun staying up late and laughing as we played games! The beds were all SO COMFY. We appreciated the TVs in each room, so we could all have our own space when needed. You don’t need a thing—she’s thought of it all. My favorite find was the blankets in the living room, we all grabbed one and cozied up while we played games! The kitchen was also fun. We found ourselves changing our plans just so we could spend more time in the home together. I would absolutely stay here again. The host really is attentive and she responds quickly and with sincerity. I could feel how much she cared about making our stay perfect. There’s so much more I can share, but I encourage you to book this property and see for yourself how lovely everything is! It’s a perfect space to make precious memories with your loved ones.

I stayed here for a 4 day girls trip. Our group has been taking girls trips together for 10+ years and this is the best place we've stayed. The location was great. It was within walking distance downtown and the neighborhood felt very safe for a fitness walk. Inside the house, there were plenty of supplies plus many extras (too many to name here). Suffice it to say everytime we needed something, it was there. And it is thoughtfully furnished. The bedding was great and the couches were plentiful and comfortable. With 3 women sharing 1 bathroom, it was nice to have the baskets in the bathroom so we could each take one and then move our stuff out when we needed to dry our hair or put on makeup in the well lit hallway. In short, this house is amazing and lives up to its name of a 5 star resort. We would all highly recommend!
