This was perfect for our family vacation! The check-in was easy, the house was very clean, the kitchen had all the pans and dishes we needed, there were games for us to play, the beach and steps into the lake were great, and the cove was peaceful. We truly enjoyed staying here. There was a grocery store close by and a few places to eat out. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very good to communicate with and responded in a timely manner.

This was our 5th time staying here for a full week. We love the house and location. Great swimming off the pier, we had a boat at the pier, close to Coloma and easy drive to South Haven. The owners have always been easy to work with and very helpful.

Limited amenities! Would have been great with kayaks or toys for the water, fire pit, fishing gear, and a dishwasher. The house is okay for the price. It is fully functional, just a bit dated and worn. The rules and checkout instructions/expectations are fairly extensive (2 pages).

Nice quiet neighborhood. The house is on an inlet so there was not a lot of boat traffic. The neighbor children had lots of fun swimming and kayaking and their parents didn’t have to worry much about them. We would definitely stay again!!

This is our 4th stay at the Shore Thing and it was as great as always. It fits what we need. We are able to dock the boat with ease. We caught turtles, sunfish and catfish off the dock. We have a tradition of swimming laps across the channel. There is always a fishing competition during the week that allows for entertainment watching the speediness of the boats launching and reloading. The neighbors are very friendly. The neighborhood is great to walk around. Our kids enjoy the big tub! It makes for great bubble baths. There are not many properties to rent on the lake. We are so thrilled Randy and Michelle allow us the ability to stay to create lasting memories. We love Paw Paw Lake! We recommend you enjoy a trip to Vineyard 2121, El Asadero and the Gazebo on the lakeshore of the golf course. Also, the town added a nice splash pad downtown!

The house was on a quiet channel and the grandkids were able to safely swim without worrying about speeding boats or jet skis. The house has everything you can possibly need as if you were in your own home. It was very hot the week we were there and air conditioning worked great.

We have been coming to Paw Paw lake for years with my husband’s family but this is the first time we have needed our own property to stay at on the Lake. This property is a gem! First, the location is fabulous. Turtle Cove is nicely removed from the busy motor sports part of the lake but has the benefit of shallow entry and deep water; there is a lot for kids to do. We got our son a snorkel set and he had a blast checking out all the fish and turtles in the lake. Morning coffee on the deck was a highlight as well. The house is sparkling clean and has everything that you need. It is also close to groceries and town. Our group of grandparents, teenager, and my husband and I felt right at home. Thank you for opening your home to us; we hope to visit again!

We enjoyed our time on Paw Paw Lake. The weather was extremely hot, but we were still able to enjoy the house and surroundings. The Host was helpful and it was easy access check in.

Home is clean and cozy. The deck is perfect from enjoying your morning coffee to having an evening chat. Lots of wildlife to see from the deck or the yard-ducks, squirrels, birds, and even a muskrat swimming by. Close to other attractions and just 15 minutes to several Lake Michigan beaches. Our goal was to relax, and that is just what we did. Mom, 2 daughters, and 2 granddaughters.

My family and I had a blast! Everything went flawless. From check-in to accuracy of online listing, the overall property and experience has left us wanting more! Will definitely be back. Hosts made it very easy. Don’t hesitate to stay at this place if a quite lake house experience is what you crave!

PROPERTY IS A GREAT LOCATION AND NICE ACCOMADATIONS HOWEVER THE WEATHER DID NOT COOPERATE. WENT FISGING TWO OUT OF FIVE DAYS AND PLAYED TOUREST THE OTHER THREE. OVERALL A VERY GOOD GET AWAY AND HAPPY PLACE!

We absolutely love staying at this house. We've now stayed 4 times for a week each time. The house has everything we need, and close enough to town and groceries. The lake is fantastic and the kids love to swim and fish right off the pier. The hosts are very responsive and super nice.

This is our third year staying at this lake house. The location and convenience are still the most appealing quality. We know we can make this place our home away from home for a week. Each year we pack less and less because we know it will be at the house. And if it's not, the stores are close by to get what you need. This year we explored more of downtown Coloma. If we could offer a couple suggestions, darker curtains would be appreciated in the bedrooms. We realize we all have different sleep styles, but new mattresses and/or toppers would make the back aches lessen throughout the stay. The place is spacious, especially the driveway space! The neighbors on the left are very friendly with younger kids that are similiar to our kids ages. We walked the neighborhood this year too. It is just such a great location! We are already looking forward to booking next year. Thank you Michelle for always being so responsive and understanding! so close by for what you might need.

Our stay was great. The property is smaller (described well in the listing) but has a nice patch of sand for our son to play in, a dock to launch my Kayak from and a great lounging area for my wife to use while looking at the lake.
