Riverfront retreat with swimming pool, granite waterfall, spa, pool table, game room, ping-pong, views, fishing, golf, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large stainless steel kitchen, 3 fireplaces, outdoor grill, fabulous views, pines, oaks, garden, Indian grinding stones, 5 acres to roam, outdoor living & dining, large great room, open dining room kitchen, minutes to Yosemite, minutes to Bass Lake, panning for gold, hawks, red-wing blackbirds, blue-heron, ducks, jays, swallows, etc. Enjoy the outdoors from inside or outside this one level, 3000 sq. ft. beautiful home, with 500+ feet or riverfront. The location is ideal. Along a river bend, with mountain views, graceful trees, spectacular waterfall swimming pool/spa and much, much more. The challenge with this property will be leaving it!

At the entryway, and around the property, are enormous granite rock outcroppings. The home has accents inside and out of granite stones, a redwood paneled master bath, oak mantels, all harvested from the property. The polished concrete floors keep the home cool in the hot summer, and help maintain the warmth in the cold winter months. The ceilings are beamed and finished in pine. Located minutes from Yosemite, Bass Lake, and Oakhurst. Outside living areas include outdoor dining table and comfy chairs, lounges around the pool, and Adirondack chairs at the river. Cook outside on the outdoor grill or cook up a storm in the stainless steel kitchen. Appliances include Viking induction stove, Thermador convection ovens, and more. Sit under the granite rock waterfall in the built-in pool ledge, or jump off a 3' rock into the pool. Of course, you could swim a lap or float in the pool as you soak in the sun. Dip your toes in the river & watch the red-tail hawks glide between trees.

Hang-out in your chair until sunset & watch a deer, rabbit or possibly raccoon come to the river. After you’ve hiked Yosemite park, return home & soak your muscles in the ground level round jetted spa next to the swimming pool. Stroll to the end of the property, walk on the golf course, & shag a couple of lost golf balls on your way. Play a round of golf, or enjoy a sandwich at the rustic clubhouse, which is also adorned in granite & pine decor. Head on back to the river, grab a volleyball & couple of friends & hit the ball around the sandy beach volleyball court. Feel the cool sand between your toes. Maybe perch yourself on a granite rock & reflect on when Miwok Indians used the grinding stones to make meal, or give it a try yourself. Set up the croquet set & play a round with your mates. The river is more like a creek in August & September, so there is a lot more sandy area to explore.

Some say there’s gold in that river. So, try your luck at panning for some gold right out your door. Maybe a nice nugget for your jewelry box, or a couple flakes as a memento of your trip. Of course, we are not making any promises and do be careful of all the fools gold in the river! If the season's right, pick some fruit out of the trees, or berries. Cut a sprig of rosemary, an iris, rose, lavender, or wild-flower or two for the bud vase in the bathroom or kitchen. Before you head home, or on to your next destination, give the laundry room a work out and pack your bags with clean clothes. Of course, if you want to extend that vacation feeling, there is a local cleaner close by. If you have been able to resist the tire swing, take a spin or two before you leave. Maybe your last night could be spent sleeping in the hammock in the trees. Sign the guest book, and we’ll keep a light on for your next visit.

Place was beautiful pool was perfect. Master bath tub had sewage backed up into it. Bathroom had bad odor. Dishwasher top rack broken, couldn’t pull it out. Ice maker didn’t work.We still had a great time but feel these things were obviously broken and should of been taken care of prior to our arrival.

The location was wonderful. The home was relatively clean…. But we did have a rat that came through the fireplace one afternoon! Considering the location, we expected a few animals. The space was large enough and for everyone and we enjoyed everyone having a bedroom. The dishwasher was not working, and that was quite a lot for all of us there to have to take turns washing dishes for so many of us. The waterfall on the pool was not operational.. The pool overall was great for the kids and the access to the river was wonderful..

This property was certainly adequate for our group of nine but it could use some updating and freshening. One particular issue we had was with the dishwasher. It was seriously on it's last leg. There was an overflow valve for it on the sink and it spewed water out during the cycle. The water flowed onto a large tile counter area behind the sink. I was thankful for that counter because had it been a regular sink set up, the water would have flowed all over the counter and floor. Additionally, the top rack was broken and we couldn't even pull it in or out plus the inside was rusty and it left the dishes filthy looking. I called the host and they said they would call service but no one showed up. We ended up handwashing for several days because the dishes were so nasty. While there were lots of pots and pans, there was not adequate silverware without washing after each meal nor was there any plasticware for storing leftovers. Overall, the kitchen was a frustrating experience. There were other things in the house that didn't work well. We did appreciate the available laundry powder. The guy who resides on the property in an out building was super nice. Even though the waterfall for the pool wasn't working, we really enjoyed it and with solar heating I appreciated not paying to heat it. The river behind the property was great for a few hours of play. Without some changes, I'm not sure I'd stay again.

Incredible property next to a little stretch of river side paradise surrounded by mountains and nature with classic cozy warm feel. Our boys loved catching tadpoles and exploring the river. Pool is heated and beautiful with plenty of seating. There is also golf course right by too. Very kind and responsive hosts.

If you want a great place to stay to play in the river it’s the place. We had such a blast getting in and playing in the river and the house stayed cool even though it was 88 during the day so we were comfortable at night. My wife and kids loved it as well.

We love the country feel and many fun features. My 3 generation families never had a dull moment there. Everyone loved the resort-like facility.

This place is great plenty of rooms for our large family. Easy check in and the river still had water running just enough to enjoy about 1 1/2 feet of water. The pool was also great.

Though it's an older home, it had modern appliances. There were lots of pits/pans, cutlery, baking & serving dishes ... There were also plenty of towels for showering and swimming. Plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained right on the property. Beautiful swimming pool and spa. The only drawbacks were that the pool was not ready to use until the poolguy came the day after we arrived and that, at first, we had to call the property manager to turn on the spa whenever we were planning to use it. That was remedied the next day when he gave us access to turn it on and off ourselves. The property manager was always very quick to respond to questions and needs. Everyone had a great time. Our 17yr old grandson said this is the best place we've stayed so far in the 8yrs we've been doing this.
