Yew Villa Cozy 2 BR Central Location

Reasonable accomodation for the price.The people who are nearby at night are noisy so don't book this place if you're sensitive to noise.I'm satisfied with what I got.

Praise the LORD! From the price, to the host (Tom), all the way to the customer service (Isabelle) everything was fantastic. They worked together and were there at my beck and call. The location was awesome in spite of the tavern across the street. I was no more than 10 minutes away from my brother, my grandson and my nephew. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos but our stay was very enjoyable.

When we arrived couldnt find the front door didn't know door was on main street. The trash was over filled outside the house when we arrived and when the trash men came the said was too heavy and reused to take the trash. We saw a few bugs and a fork under the bed in the mail room by the kitchen.

Great location in close proximity to the Pittsburgh downtown area & Zoo/aquarium. The listing accurately described the property and check in was a breeze.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very welcoming owner and staff that was available within moments to answer any questions and help with any needs! We ended up needing to book a last miniute stay and the owner was quite understanding and accomidating to our needs! This charming apt is very conveniently located for walking to many different stores and restraunts. A very safe neighborhood with lots to see and do! Really enjoyed the convenience of having an in unit complimetary washer and dryer to use and the stocked fresh brew kerig coffees available during our week long stay! I highly reccomend staying at the Yew Villa if you are in need of a place to stay in the Bloomfield/Shadyside or surrounding areas and enjoy all the relaxing comforts of home!

This property did NOT have Heat!! There was no working furnace or central heating system and the apt was freezing and uninhabitable. And the windows had a/c units that let cold air in. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. It is a scam run by a slum landlord who does not care. There are no tables or counters to eat at. Nothing to sit on - no kitchen table or counters. It was horrible and we could not stay there.

My family went to Pittsburgh to assist our daughter into moving into a new apartment for the school year. The apartment was less then 1 mile to her new place. We were able to walk to dinner and to enjoy nightlife. The outside was so deceiving. Inside was 2 spacious bedrooms and a small bathroom. Great for location and amenities.
