Stayed Jun 21, 2026Great home in a perfect Northern Michigan location! With four bedrooms, it was exactly what our Ohio group of four was looking for. Golf was our primary focus, and we were within 30 minutes of some of the best Michigan golf. Inside, everything was very comfortable with an attractive, fully-equipped kitchen. Every bedroom was very comfortable and the heated floors in the bathrooms were a treat after showers. The fire pit out back got daily use after dinner for extended conversations and there was plenty of wood. We did steaks on the grill the first night (after golf on the way up) and everything needed was close at hand. Absolutely one of very best VRBOs available up there. Best of all, our hosts were very friendly, easily accessible and communication was excellent. Every question was answered all along the way. Obviously would highly recommend for golf...or ski trips, which none of us do anymore...lol.

Stayed Jul 16, 2025I stayed for a work conference that was held at The Highlands. It was extremely close, but offered a nice get away from the conference as well. The heated floors, beautiful kitchen and decor, and comfortable beds all made for a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend the house to anyone!
