Once you drive to the property, you understand the disclaimer about the type of vehicle that is needed, but the road was not an issue with the proper tires/4WD - really made for a more unique experience.

They have a griddle, ice cream maker, air fryer, etc that are not normally available at most rentals. The cabin was extremely clean and you are located close to multiple outdoor activities. Starlink wifi was plenty fast for our needs. The power went out one day and there was a generator that immediately kicked on and kept everything running until power was restored. Just FYI, there are some nuances with the thermostats, but this is clearly explained in the guidebook. We had a great time and will most likely stay at Xanadu again the next time we are looking for a cabin to rent.

The kitchen was great for cooking, the outdoor spaces were large, accommodating, and cozy. The views were stunning and I loved that we had such proximity to trailheads. I would definitely stay at Xanadu again, and I would suggest others to as well.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was so clean and well maintained! It’s one of the best rentals we’ve ever been to. You can tell they really care about the property. Cottonwood lodging was also very communicative and frequently checked in to see if we had any questions and if we were doing okay.

Was a fantastic place to be able to spend the week, with two other friends’ families. We were in town for a sports tournament that had days of downtime in between, so the location and sights with hiking options was a great way to enjoy the time. Would definitely stay again!

Both Solitude and Brighton are so accessible. Will come back again. Our hosts we so attentive to any need that arose.

Stayed for a long weekend to ski at Solitude. This was an amazing home! A great spot near the slopes with all the amenities you could want. The management team was very responsive. I hope to be back!

Had a blast and home was beautiful

We loved the location giving easy access to Solitude, Brighton and a short drive to Little Cottonwood. Issues were handled quickly with the management group and communication was fast. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

The location is great but do take the company's requirement for 4x4 and snow tires seriously. The road is narrow and had a ton of snow on it.

Xanadu is a gorgeous brand new construction cabin in the a gorgeous setting. It's a bit tricky to find and there truly is construction going on around you as other cabins are being built on all sides (wasn't a problem for us on the weekend, but be aware of the background noise of saws and hammering on weekdays). We loved the hiking trail right outside the front door. We loved the views and the mountain air. Cottonwood Lodging was responsive and professional hosts. We would rent here again!

One of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. The kitchen had literally everything you would ever need to cook with. The house was new and immaculate. It is in the most beautiful location at the foot of some great walking and biking trails. We will for sure stay again!
