Stayed Aug 9, 2023Apparently, we were the first party in this property. It's sort of charming and in a very pretty area, but it has a ways to go. The owner seemed very cooperative and I'm sure will get everything on track. Issues: oven wouldn't light, gave off noxious odor; stove burners left heavy soot on any pot or pan; bare light bulbs need fixtures; staircase needs some sort of railing to be safe (esp. in the middle of the night); needs a cook's touch in the kitchen to get it outfitted right (e.g., need serving dishes); bathrooms are small, but nice; the overall presentation (And, hence, ability to charege more) would be much improved by mowing the front lawn.
