Host ghosted us, we never got the code on Friday. Spoke with VRBO, she tried contacting host with no luck. VRBO also said there was nothing available but to try Saturday. We had a family of 11 who came from all over Texas and had 2 dogs. No hotel available on the peninsula. Had already bought all our groceries for 4 days and had nowhere to go. Ice cream melted we bought for 3 birthday parties we were to celebrate. After 4 hours of sitting outside with a 4 year old, 3 of us on social media, reaching out to anyone with connections to a beach house for us, we finally found one thru a realtor. We had to rent it for the 3 nights, tho. The next morning, Saturday, I checked my email a at 2:03 AM the VRBO host autogenerated us the code. Too LATE! VRBO is supposed to be refunding our money for the house we had rented back in February! I am expecting my refund this week, because we had to pay for the house we’ve been in. Also, I do not think VRBO will enjoy the reprocussions
