The cabin was perfect! Close to everything yet tucked away. So much room and peace and quiet. Love all the windows for wildlife watching

Mold in the shower. Sinks that don't drain. Oven that doesn't heat. No internet. A heating grate that broke and could cause serious injury to child and adult. Outlets that don't work. A broken chair seat that was dangerous. The property was pet friendly. The road was plowed regularly.

It had everything we needed! Fireplace, close proximity to Northstar and woods behind it! Only complaint would be to have some shampoo and conditioner.

Property located in a wonderful area. Comfy home close to Northstar and the Tahoe National Forest. We had a great time skiing and sledding with the kids and grandkids.

We took the family to enjoy playing in the snow and we were blessed with plenty of it. The house was nice and cozy and plenty of room. Nice neighborhood too!

When we arrived to the house we discovered that housekeeping had not come to clean up from the previous tenants. I was able to make contact with the owner eventually and the cleaners were sent out late evening to clean. It was definitely inconvenient but we were issued a partial refund for the troubles. The WiFi isn’t very strong and there is little to no cell service, which is fine but just plan ahead if you need to look up travel stuff etc. This isn’t the fanciest house but it’s cozy and definitely has that mountain cabin feel to it.

My husband and 11yr old son had a blast. We arrived to a snowplowed driveway! The stairs had pads on them to melt the snow, nice! My son played on his sled in the front yard and down the street. Tons of soft snow all around us. We went for a snowmobile tour 3 miles away and had a wonderful day. The house is definitely clean, gently used, and dated. Not fancy, but gets the job done. The neighborhood is wonderful backing up to state park. Would love to go back in the summer if we could afford it.

We had a great stay in Kingswood Estates with 2 families. Cabin was just what needed for some downtime, snow play, and a walk in the woods. Loved that the Tahoe Rim Trail is just outside their back door. Owners were super easy to communicate with. A great experience for us!

I searched for homes for our first Destination Christmas with our kids and their spouses. We really didn’t know what to expect, but this place exceeded all of our expectations. It was beautiful, spacious, had everything in the kitchen that we needed. Cara was awesome to talk to, and quick to respond to our questions. There was lots of snow and we all had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for a very memorable Christmas!
