Wonderful Vacation Home Rental on Owasco Lake

Very pleasant experience! Clean and efficient property. The grounds are very well manicured and it’s exceptionally quiet. We would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for a week at end of July, 2025. Place was exactly as pictured. Very clean, very relaxing. We spent all our time on patio and in back yard, dining outside and watching boats and duck families swimming by. Location was easily accessible. Check in very easy. Sunrise through bedroom window spectacular!

This is our third year staying at this lake house. The communications with owner was good. The house is exactly as stated in the write up. A/c in bedrooms which cools the whole house. Plenty of parking, water toys, a dock, 2 kayaks and wonderful yard reaching the waterfront. Definitely planing on staying here again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The kids loved fishing every day and taking the kayaks out on the water. The house was perfect for our family—comfortable, well-equipped, and in a beautiful setting. We also visited the nearby town of Skaneateles, which was charming and definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing family getaway!

We loved this property. Just as shown. Clean and comfortable inside, and lots of room outside to enjoy the lake. Solid dock, lots of chairs. Firepit with wood available for purchase. Great grassy yard with lots of birds.

The property representative was great. The home was lovely, well maintained, and equipped with the items you would need both inside and out. We appreciated the easy to follow binder of notes available on the dining table upon arrival. And the lakeside view was spectacular. Many thanks Tracy!

A level yard and drive, everything is clean and nice. So happy to not be in Florida this week!

Very pleasant

It was the perfect place to relax for a few days. Two canoes to go on the lake, the kids could go into the lake by themselves as it is very flat and protected. The house is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and the view from the master bedroom over the lake is just amazing.

Clean house. Amazing location. The lake itself is soo clear. We could see the bottom at least 4 feet out. I'm a water girl and usually a salt water fan.... however this lake won me over. Great dock for fishing or tying your floats up and just hanging. Owner was VERY responsive when we had a very minor issue. He Was ready to come and take care of it but it was nothing that hindered our vacation so we told him not necessary. We will definitely go back.

This property is perfect for families with teenagers. The yard was a wonderful place to play yard games like corn hole and volleyball. The dock setup was perfect for our boat and there were very few steps down to the dock. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. We have stayed at many Finger Lakes cottages and this one is our favorite!!!

The house and grounds are beautiful. It’s clean, comfortable and relaxing. There is a flat lawn from the house to the break wall. Then it’s just 5 steps down to the huge shallow beach which is perfect for young kids. The boat dock is designed to tie up your boat easily so it doesn’t bang into the dock. It is so quiet and peaceful. The boat traffic is light and the neighborhood has permanent residents around so everything is well kept. It was a great vacation and we thank our hosts for sharing their beautiful home with us.

This property is exactly as the listing stated. Overall property is well cared for and stocked with water activities items such as kayaks. Checkin was easy, plenty of parking, the property is flat right to lakefront with a large dock. Highly recommend property and will probably book for next year.
