Casa Carmela — Lakefront Home on Owasco Lake — Upscale Stunning Retreat

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful views of Owasco Lake. We love the double decks. Plenty of room for my whole family. We would love to stay again.

The place was amazing. I will stay again. Clean, large rooms, great lake view. Host was great.

We had a delightful stay. This was a high school friends reunion and we came from Texas, Florida, Ohio and New York to spend time together after years of trying for this gathering. Location is terrific and we enjoyed sitting on the deck for cocktails and sunsets!! The house was terrific. And our host was amazing and flexible as we had some changes in availability. Really appreciate the willingness to make a last minute change.

The views were outstanding, especially the sunsets! We enjoyed our time very much! I personally would add blinds or shades to keep house cooler with the afternoon sun beating in the kitchen doors and bedroom windows, but other than that, everything was excellent! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided as well. We had our own boat that we were able to dock there, which was an added bonus. I definitely would go back!!

Great house with a fantastic location. The owner was fantastic, easy check-in, and very easy checkout. Beautiful decks to hang out on over overlooking the water and a nice fire pit down by the water. Great place to stay if your with family and friends lots of space.

Beautiful spacious house in private lakeside setting. It is stunning, very well-appointed and a perfect family home. Just loved the privacy of the setting, but at the top of the lane there’s miniature golf and ice cream! It was cold and rainy during our stay but we had a blast anyway. Would love to have used the kayaks or just been able to sit on the dock, maybe next time! Appreciated the treats from our host too!

Great property! We had 6 adults and 2 children under the age of 7. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The large dining table was great for meals. Outside, there is a small rock beach and your own private dock. The property manager was very responsive with the couple of questions I had.

Had a great weekend stay at the Finger Lakes. Weather wasn't ideal but Casa Carmelo was a very pleasant place to spend the hours we weren't hiking. Plenty of room for the five of us (with a bedroom left over) and everything one needs. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay with family for our son’s graduation from Syracuse. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for seven adults. Beautiful lake views from inside the house and from the decks. The sunsets are amazing. Rick is an excellent host. He was quick to reply to my initial inquiries prior to booking and checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in and check out were very easy. I highly recommend staying at Casa Carmela.

Casa Carmela is a beautiful home with a lovely beachfront and fantastic sunset views. Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. Owner was responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed.

Very nice house. Was as advertised. Great views from the deck - enjoyed watching the sunsets over the lake.

We had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the many amenities at the house and also visited the surrounding area. We enjoyed Skaneateles, Seneca Falls, Auburn, and Aurora. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the decks. Everything was great and we would love to come back and stay longer!

Great comms with the property manager - before booking and during stay. House has gorgeous views of the lake and a private beach/dock. If course it rained the majority of our stay, but we were able to entertain ourselves in the quaint town of auburn and watching football/TV shows on the 2 TVs in the living room. The board games were also fun! Was able to accommodate my parents, husband, 2 children under 2 and my dog. Even with a full house, there was plenty of space for us all to relax. Would highly recommend!!

Chose the location as half way between Philadelphia & Ottawa for a family reunion - Thr cottage worked perfectly just to relax into within everything we needd

Large bedrooms and 2 large decks. Kayaks and paddleboard were a blast. Also have a dock so rented a boat from Owasco marine

The house was beautiful and the views of the lake were breathtaking. Everything was well maintained and the owner kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Its just a few steps to the water and dock and we got a lot of use out of the paddle board and boats. Highly recommend this house and we would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived we were very pleased with the house and property. Once inside, the view from the living room was wonderful. The house was in good condition. The two level decks offered wonderful views of the lake. Would rent again.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Carmela. The view of the lake is fabulous and the home is well equipped for enjoying the water (kayaks, paddleboard, life vests, etc). The house is spacious and nicely decorated. Rick was very responsive when I had questions and checked in periodically during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. The road to the house is single lane, but traffic goes in both directions, so you have to be sure to go slowly in case anyone else is coming or going. We had fun playing mini golf at Tom Thumb, which is right at the end of the road. It, too, has a great view of the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house on Owasco Lake! The interior was stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The owner was incredibly considerate and kept in touch frequently to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
