Wonderful retreat lake house, close to great hiking trails

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful lake house. The home was beautiful, very clean, and located in a calm and quiet area. The views were absolutely amazing, and all amenities were available, making our stay very comfortable. We have no complaints at all—everything was perfect, and we were very happy with our experience. Highly recommend!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. I’ve stayed in Ruidoso many times over the years in different cabins, and this one easily ranks in my top three. Every room is spacious and includes its own private restroom, the deck offers amazing views, and the owners’ attention to detail truly shows. We will definitely be back

We stayed here with a large group of friends, and we all loved it. This was the cleanest house any of us had stayed at. A clean rental house is my main priority when renting, and this house was very clean. Even though the reviews all said it was really clean, I didn't think it actually would be that clean, but it was! The rooms were all comfortable and spacious, and we loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. There was so much space for all 12 of us, and we are all excited to rent this place again. Check in was super easy since they sent all the information ahead of time. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Beautiful property!!

It was almost perfect, we will rent again. Couple of small things, smell coming from the entry closest - heated floors did not work - foos ball game was broke. My favorite place to stay had house rule: On your final/last day don’t do a thing, you are still on vacation, no need to gather towels or sheets, no need to take out garbages, no need to dispose of unused food, don’t even worry about starting the dishwasher or doing the dishes, this is your vacation, enjoy it. They took care of it All. I wish this was the case for this rental. Just saying that is how you charge more than the neighbors and get booked out for years.

Second time we have stayed at this house. I’m not sure it gets any better than this location, view, etc. Highly recommend.

This place had everything our family needed and more! The online pictures did not do it justice. Beautiful view of the lake and trails close by were nice. We would love to stay here again!

Well, our stay was to blow off steam from so much work and stress and that’s what we did this. Home is a beautiful home. Very nice location. Everything was nice and cleaned. Only issue was the grill outside was pretty dirty. And the other issue was the lake. Very nice lake if we would’ve had Water just like the pictures but the lake was low. Did have Water went fishing overall we did have a good time.

The house was lovely as was the view. Locking the house was not addressed and didn’t get a speedy response when I reached out as to how that worked. We finally figured it out. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house with plenty of room, great for large groups. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the young adults and teens enjoyed hanging out downstairs in the TV room while the older adults had some peace and quiet upstairs. The lake and hiking trails are within walking distance. The property manager was also very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We (adults and kids) all had a fabulous time . This was our first annual Christmas event and it couldn't have been more perfect. The rooms were nice, large kitchen and family room accommodated everyone. It is a beautiful place and area. It would be a fun winter or summer vacation place.

No TV on the main floor or patio to watch football. Gameroom had no sand for the shuffleboard table that was really disappointing!!!

Stayed here with my family and enjoyed every piece of it! Home was beautiful and well equipped! I have stayed in many hotels, resorts and VRBOs and this is absolutely the BEST! Words do not do this property justice. This will be my go to place going forward. My family and I appreciate the attention to detail and just how well laid out this house was.
