Wonderful Home w/Enclosed Backyard, Private Washer & Dryer + Shared Pool

We loved the cozy feeling of the home, it was clean-ish. Frying pan was filled with oil in the oven. There was hair everywhere and chunks of it. Fridge had fingerprints all over it. Kitchen floor looked like it wasn’t clean had spots on it. Blinds were damaged etc. I would stay again but it would need a super deep clean. There was a beer bottle on patio , cigarette buts on patio. WiFi stopped working Saturday during day and didn’t work again. Had to go buy dvds to watch tv. Again the place was decent and the community was awesome. We wanted to clean the stuff that was left when we got there and we didn’t because we feel the cleaners should see what they missed for next time. Great price great stay just a few improvements would go a long way! Thanks

Stayed over a June weekend. It was a mixed bag. 1st the good, location-wise its close to both Assateague beaches and Ocean City Boardwalk. Quiet, secluded, gated entry. The community has tons of amenities including a pool. It's gated and safe. The home is lovely and charmingly decorated. My son counted 30 lighthouses and 13 dolphins! I would also add one of the best beds, I have slept in a rented place. Usually its lumpy with hot pillows, but not this home. It's small and fits four people well. Now for the bad. When we came in, first there was confusion on how to get in to the door. There was apparently two lockboxes, with one being a red herring. Then the screen door stopper was broken. The kitchen seemed to be missing few utensils, for example no scissors/spatula, and only one knife. The biggest frustration was the Internet. It was already slow on Friday, and Saturday morning it gave out. We tried calling multiple times and left messages, and we never got internet again. The repairman told us likely the owner failed to pay the internet bill. There was also confusion we told Vacasa they had consent to enter, but no one told the handyman when he came to fix it, while we were out at the beach. Also another upshot, we couldnt use the thermostat, since that was on the Wifi and it was out. So it was a fairly cold Saturday/Sunday. Lastly, the instructions stated to place dishes in dishwasher, jet dry was given, but there was no dishwasher! Listing although said no dishwasher

Privacy, Assateague Pointe, location, size was great for 3 people at the most.

There was cobwebs in the kitchen by the sliding glass door. Ants were on the kitchen and coffee table. Lastly they need to be specific on where the lock box is located.

This home was more than satisfactory. Quaint and minimally furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend at the beach. Beds were adequate and simply made. The community itself is very well kept and really very quiet. A short drive to both Assateaugue and OCMD. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a low key - no frills (but relaxing) location.

Last minute pick turned out well. Property close enough to OC. Took a few minutes to find lock box for keys which was on handrail. Property clean. Could use cable but we managed with streaming. Friendly people on premises. I would stay here again.
