Stayed Jan 18, 2022Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pinecrest estates near Whistler. The neighbourhood is very peaceful full of many friendly neighbours. The house was well appointment with all the amenities required for a longer stay. Some of the highlights included the gorgeous and tranquil hot tub and side deck , good sized chiefs kitchen overlooking entertaining areas, and ping pong/ games room on the second floor. Cozy nights spent around the well stocked wood burning fireplace followed by comfortable sleeps on quality mattresses. We would definitely love to stay back at Neil and Mary’s gorgeous chalet again!

Stayed Aug 16, 2021Ended up stumbling on this place and so glad I did. We had our family up with our 16 month old and it was perfect. Crib and high stool were there. We were steps away from the beach and the forest. The hot tub was great to use after swimming in the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. It's close enough to everything if you forget something and you truly feel like you are in a cabin in the woods. If I was to say something negative it was all the little cabin nick knacks that our toddler wanted go play with had to be moved out of reach. Thank you Marg.

Stayed Jun 27, 2020We were so lucky and thankful to have a month in this super cozy cabin on this idyllic lake. Think the price is way too low for this amazing huge cabin with everything you will ever need and told the great owners that. Hope nobody reads this though as we are hoping it will be our hidden treasure every year now !!

Stayed Dec 1, 2019We booked this property for the month of December to enjoy family time with our children and grandchild. It was perfect for us- cozy, furnished in a warm, relaxed manner complete with a wood stove, hot tub and ping pong table. Easy drive to Whistler for ski days as well as Callaghan for cross-country.. The house is very private, nestled in the woods on the edge of a deep ravine- great walking neighbourhood. Beds were comfy, check-in easy and smooth and we were especially delighted that Marg had decorated the house for Christmas, complete with a trimmed tree to welcome us. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed Jul 1, 2019Our family (dad, mom, and three boys ages 9, 7, and 6) spent the month of July at the Tennant’s beautiful cabin. Everything was perfect - clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. We traveled to the Squamish/Whistler area to climb and hike. If you have a chance, hike the Joffre Lakes - they are amazing. It was an incredible feeling knowing that at the end of each day, we had a great place to retire to in the evening. The hot tub is a great touch and a service team maintains it once a week. It was always crystal clear, clean, and the chemicals were spot on. Our family enjoyed the ping pong table every day. In fact, I think we decided to purchase one when we return home! Past reviews noted that the TV situation was less than ideal. Since that posting, the owners have added a large TV with an Apple TV. We definitely binged some shows on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video during our stay. The beds were all comfortable and the bedrooms are nice and dark. We loved the train visits. They were fun for the boys and never woke us up at night. We also enjoyed several trips to the lake, which is directly across the driveway (1 minute walk). The water was clean, refreshing, and not too cold to enjoy some swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and looked forward to eating together at the large dining table each night. It sounds funny, but the heated floors in the hallway and bathroom are amazing! We had a blast and this was a trip of a lifetime. When we return to Squamish and Whistler, we will return to the Tennant’s cabin. There’s no need to look at other properties. The communication was stellar, check in and out was so simple, and we left wanting nothing more. It was perfect.

Stayed Feb 26, 2019Great cabin for children with amazing hosts that answers you questions really fast. Nice and clean tub outside and a cosy fireplace inside. Really confortable beds, clean and a kitchen that has the things you need for cooking. Close to a lake that has a play ground, beach in the summer and ice skating area in the winter. It takes 20 mins to Whistler and Squamish and there is a lot to do and explore near Pinecrest. I relly recommend this cabin, would love to go back there again!

Stayed Jan 7, 2019When we arrived, the cabin was clean but temperature was set at 10 C. So we had to set the thermostat at 22 and to light a fire in the fireplace! Wow! One hour later and for the rest of our one month stay we feeled comfortable and relaxed! Peaceful location. Spa well maintained by pros. The only negative point: no cable TV but unlimited Wi-Fi. As we don't like to look at TV on a cell Phone or a Tablet and as the only old TV in the cabin is not set for Wi-Fi... we had no TV for one month! We were not prepared for that cure but we survived! It is probably easy and not complicated or expensive for the owner to improve that point. We greatly recommand that place for people who want to relax in a rustic setting... far away from the crowd and all associated animations, pubs, etc. Well located, only 25 minutes ride to reach the Whistler parking lot!!! Ho! Beds are comfortable! Richard Giguère , Les Éboulements, QC

Stayed Jan 1, 2018We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The cabin is full of interesting antique items and collectibles. I almost wish there was a guide book to explain everything! The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and met our needs perfectly. The kitchen had quite new appliances and was well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, pots, pans, etc. We loved sitting in the hot-tub and watching the snow quietly fall, and then getting treated to the sight of a train passing just feet away, but about forty feet below, in the railway cut -- truly a unique perspective. When we weren't off skiing we went for a couple of walks in and around the small lakes of Pinecrest.
