Short walk to the shuttle pick up location and easy to get to all the things we wanted. Would definitely stay there again.

The check in process was a bit more difficult as the weather stripping on the door is thick and makes it difficult to get into the house initially. Other than that, the house was great. This is the second home I've rented at the Lookout and it was a great place.

Our group consisted of parents, 4 teenagers and two large dogs. The house has a good floor plan with gracious spaces, comfy furniture, a well appointed kitchen, and a great location on the green. It is lovely to sit on the front porch in the morning and evening looking out at the parklike setting.

The only issue we had was the door handle being difficult to lock and unlock. We had to call the rental office twice.

We enjoyed the front porch, the back patio with hot tub and the various amenities in The Lookout -- pool, pickleball, parks, etc. The only problem we had was that the door lock wasn't unlocking properly. It was quite inconvenient as the after hours maintenance people were difficult to get in touch with due to their voice mail inbox being full. The staff seemed to be aware of the problem, but they had not properly informed us.

Hot tub code wasn't given until I reached out, but they were super fast to service the hot tub and get us the code for use. We love all of the amenities and the growth of the Look out! Wish you were here was a sweet home to stay at. I didn't recieve an email with our vacation dates and payment information immediately, I had to call and request it. Might have been a glitch.They had dog bowls set out for our dog and some toys available. They had a playpen for our baby and a baby gate. We were super close to the pool and the shuttle to take us to the lake to take a second shuttle down to the beach. We will be back!

The kids were very comfortable in the bunk room and the grown-ups in their own rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed; crockpot, kitchenaid mixer, electric kettle and two styles of coffee machines. We made almost every meal at the house and we were there for 10 days. The home is set up perfectly for having the main entertainment downstairs and sleeping upstairs. I also appreciated that the bathrooms had stools for the kids and we found baby gates and a highchair seat. All in all, this was a great stay and we will be back.

Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd visit to The Lookout for a vacation rental and we loved this house because it's pup friendly, has a lovely hot tub and firepit, and was more than spacious for the two of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the king bed in the master was quite comfy (loved the ceiling fan above). We also appreciated the wireless speaker, cozy fireplace and swivel chairs in the living room. It's location on the green space was perfect for our pups!
