Winter Rental: Secluded 8 acres, 4 Bedrooms, Sauna, Hot Tub, PET FRIENDLY

My friends and family had a great time

My family of 5, with 3 teenagers (14,16,18) shared the house with my brother's family of 5 (with 3 adult children) and we had a wonderful time. Eileen (Eileya) was great to work with and true to her word when she said it was turn-key. Everything we needed was there, including linens, towels, beach chairs. We used the tennis court quite a bit and enjoyed the (unheated) pool too, which was refreshing but not as cold as I feared. I was happily surprised that we could stay in the water without getting cold (and I tend to cold cold pretty easily. )The 4 BR house was very comfortable and we made use of the entertainment shack's loft bed (with no bathroom) as our 5th bedroom. It was fine for 2 of our boys to share. Eileen (Eileya) was great to work with and the house was very well-stocked with staples along with a few bicycles, boogie boards....The tennis court was perfect for our avid group of players, and we used it for hours every day, however, it is not in perfect shape. There is one large crack and mildew forms after it rains, which can cause parts of the court to be slippery until the sun bakes it off. This was a minor issue. I would LOVE to rent this home again next summer and for many summers in the future. The tennis court will need to be resurfaced in the coming years, and I believe a solar pool cover would make the pool even more inviting. Other than that, I would suggest the addition of a microwave, although we fared quite well without one. Lots of harmless add-longlegs outside (and some inside the home) were not a bother to us but thought I should mention. Our vacation stay ended yesterday and I already miss the place.

Located in a wooded area this house was ideal for a family vacation. It includes a pool, sauna, hot tub and tennis court. It was fully stocked with just about everything a family needs, bicycles, tennis rackets and balls, pool floaties etc. The host provided many kitchen basics (spices, oils etc.) which we appreciated. One glitch was the gas oven wouldn't light, the host said it had never happened before and sent someone out to look at it however it need parts and couldn't be fixed during our stay. There are two barbeque's so we were able to make do. Overall a perfect place for a family getaway!

Stayed here with my boys and rotating grandparents. Really peaceful and fun spot with lots of outdoor activities. My son loved riding his mountain bike along the trails and dirt road in. We biked to Sag Harbor which was very easy and fun. The beaches were amazing and having two nearby town to choose from is a real bonus with the crazy area traffic. Eileen is super easy to work with. Generous of spirit And time. We had a wonderful time there.

We had an amazing 4th of July vacation at Eileen's house! She was a very generous & caring host, wanting to make sure we enjoyed ourselves & offering recommendations, and willing to help in any way. We would go back in a heart beat! Her property is a stunning oasis in the pine forest, a true, peaceful get-away from normal life. The whole place is turnkey (coffee, spices, lounge chairs, bikes, pool toys, you name it..). The pool & sauna were fantastic and the property is perfectly located between Saag and East Hampton to go see the town. The running trails around the neighborhood are fantastic. We also loved the local beach. Overall, we loved our stay and would not have changed a thing. Thanks so much Eileen!

The property was exactly as advertised! It is beautiful with everything you would want: 8 acres of wooded seclusion, the grounds are completely private!!! Wonderful tennis court, hot tub, large pool right next to the hot tub, a sauna, extra hide away outside sleeping cabin with loft bed and downstairs living area. Inside the main house, there is lots of light, lots of windows and fun surprises: private deck upstairs off one of the upstairs bedrooms, the downstairs master bedroom has sliding glass doors that open to the deck leading you to the pool and hot tub, everything clean and well maintained. I recommend this property without any reservation!

I absolutely loved this house. It's totally private on 8 acres with oversized pool and tennis court, hot tub and sauna. There is a little detached house with loft and entertainment center. My kids had a ball running around the property and playing in the woods. There is a really special energy here. The beds were comfortable and we loved the open kitchen, dining, living area. Wireless worked great. The house came equipped with beach chairs, bikes and kid stuff. There is a super little quiet bay beach close by you could walk there. I felt the location was really ideal as you can get to towns Sag Harbor and East Hampton without having to go on the highway. Everything was clean and fresh when we arrived and the owner was extremely responsive via phone or email when we had a question. I would highly recommend this house. Absolutely loved it.

Beautiful, secluded and well maintained house and property. Our family of 8 enjoyed the pool and ample outdoor seating, as well as the tennis court and large hot tub. Especially helpful and one of the main reasons we plan to return was the extremely accommodating owner who allowed us to bring our two dogs. Plan on getting a beach pass as soon as you arrive - Wainscott beach was exceptional and worth the extra cost. There is even an outdoor structure we used to practice yoga and pilates. If you are a nature lover, the views of the property inside the house are amazing and the log cabin cozy feel is perfect for those with children or a romantic couple getaway. Towns of Sag Harbor and East Hampton are both close by and if you are unfamiliar with the area, have great restaurants, markets and shopping.

The owner is wonderfully easy to deal with and helpful. The house is extremely well-equipped -- it had all we could need and more -- and very comfortable. The pool is huge, the sauna and tennis court are terrific, and the property is beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation.

I had a wonderful stay with my wife and child. The owner and her son went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel very much at home. It was a very nice surprise to find a hidden sanctuary like this in a fairly remote and tranquil location. Very relaxing but not too far from town if you feel like being active also.
