Wonderful home! Beautifully decorated with every amenity you could ever want or need. Great communication from start to end with the owners. Our couples dinner club had a great time!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at this property — it was the perfect setting for our family gathering. The space was generous and accommodating, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together without feeling crowded.Joe was a fantastic host — warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. It’s clear he takes real pride in the property and in making guests feel welcome.Fredericksburg is such a special place, and this rental made the trip even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great home base in the area — we’d love to come back!

This beautiful home has all you need and more! Gorgeous furnishings, well stocked kitchen, perfect location. Comfortable outdoor space is just the spot for relaxing conversation and a glass of wine. Host is responsive, friendly and helpful. Our group of seven cannot wait to return!

Our group had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious and easily accommodated all ten of us, and everyone was very comfortable. The location was perfect, especially for visiting wineries during the day. We loved all the decorations throughout the home—it made the space feel very welcoming. In the evening, the backyard was the perfect place for our group to relax and hang out after a full day out. We’re so glad we chose to stay here and will definitely be back again soon!

This home is stunning! Very clean and very well stocked! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. They lay out of the property is also very spacious and allows for privacy without being on top of each other. The backyard has a lot of space for relaxing.

This property was amazing. Beautifully decorated. It is well stocked and has more things you just don’t find in all vacation rentals. We loved the outdoor area just as well and the indoors. For our party of 10 it was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and it is immaculately clean!

Overall great place

I have rented multiple houses for family vacations over the years and this is hands down the best. The house is very well equipped from nice beds, towels for indoor and out, outdoor seating and another area to gather in for entertaining. I love to cook and usually bring things I will need just in case, while I did not cook during the stay, everything you could possibly need is at the house. The attention to detail is amazing, it seems more like you are at someone's home vs. a rental. If we ever take a family vacation to Fredericksburg again, I definitely know where we will stay.

Each of us had our seperate space for sleeping and lounging. 5 women had a great time. We watched a movie and a series from the large living area in the guest house. Everything was clean and up to date. The outside was beautiful and inviting. We all decided we would book again if we came back to Fredericksburg Thanks again

The Wine Down House exceeded my expectations. It is gorgeous!!! Family and friends loved the different living spaces, hot tub, and fire pit. This property had everything you could imagine and more. Beds were super comfy. Bathrooms had double vanities. Kitchen had everything you needed.Neighborhood was perfect. Felt safe the entire visit. Communication with Joe was fast, friendly, and professional. This was my first time being in charge of a VRBO property so I was a little nervous. Thanks Joe for being such an incredible host! Great property in a great location. Home has been updated beautifully. There is space for everyone to have some downtime. The kitchen and bars are stocked with all the items needed like utensils, coffee makers, pots, pans, glasses galore, toaster, really everything you would have at home. This is a great rental property for all ages.

If I could have rated the property, manager,and other criteria higher, I would have. Check-in was a breeze. The manager stayed in contact with me prior to and during our entire stay. It was obvious he wanted to assure our stay was a good one. The house was marvelous with tons of room and amenities. The outdoor sitting area was our favorite in the evening and early morning. We brought a number of support items with us but never saw the need to use them as the kitchen was more than amply equipped. This is our first time renting this property from this management company and I assure you it will not be the last. Our entire group of 6 highly recommends Wine Down House!!!!!!

We love this property. It's unique 5 king bed layout makes for an amazing setup. It is close to town and easy to access. The outside patio is a nice addition since last year and made our time even more pleasant. Thanks for another great trip!!

I stayed at Wine Down House with my sister and a few friends to spend time together catching up. We absolutely loved our stay and agreed it was one of our favorite rentals to date! The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel at home. There was plenty of space for us to spend time together, but the various guest houses also allowed us to have privacy when we wanted some down time. We really enjoyed the patio area and only wish the cold weather hadn't limited our time outside this trip! The house is just a few minutes from town and in a quiet, walkable neighborhood.Joe was an excellent host and responded quickly to any questions I had. We can't wait to visit again!

Stayed at this house for President’s Day weekend. Five couples to do some wine tasting. Place was perfect. Four bathrooms, five king beds, a beautiful yard to hang out in. I rarely do reviews because I don’t like to say anything bad and generally there is something I’m not happy about. Not the case here at all. House was finished really well. Highly recommend it, walked to town most of the time. Had couples that didn’t know each other well which worked out because of the separate two rooms from the main house. Everyone had plenty of space. Highly recommend staying here.

Overall, this was a great property. The check-in process was easy, the kitchen was well stocked, including Keurig coffee pods, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were also stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms were quite large with comfortable beds. The fire pit area was a nice comfortable area to relax in, and the hot tub was enjoyable as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Fredericksburg.

Our family gathered here for Christmas. The house/guest houses were beautiful, comfortable, and fun. There is so much gathering space outdoors and in. The introverts could “get away” to recharge; the extroverts had their game and hang out space as well. We will keep this place on our must return list.
