Great property for a family get away in the isle palms / Charleston area. Property was great, space was clean and comfy. Only had some issues. Range hood was non functional, wine fridge didn’t work and most importantly nearby beach access was washed away by a storm making it not nearly as accessible as we thought. None of this really impacted our stay. We had nice family time with big dinners and good trips to historic downtown Charleston along with some beautiful beach walks (once we found access points)

We all talked about coming back to it when the weather was nice and we could enjoy the beach. The layout was conducive to games and family bonding, while there was still plenty of space for privacy when the family gets too overwhelming for some. :)

Stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely stay again. The house is great, especially the common area and distance to the beach. Wild Dunes is a drive from the airport / downtown Charleston, with the slow roads. Our goal was to do a destination beach getway, so this was perfect for us and our large group.

Reviewer Comments: The house is so much more than the pictures showcase, hot tub was clean and well maintained for a spa-like experience, and the home’s location was next to the beach we walked there every night at sunset :) we plan to make Isle of Palms and this home an annual summer trip for the family!

The kids enjoyed the gameroom and we found everything to be comfortable. Unfortunately though, the beach access walkway is closed and apparently has been closed for quite some time. We chose this house for the short walk to the beach. The rental company told us they had been informed that it had been fixed and we should be able to walk past the closed sign. We tried that and we were then harrassed by one of the neighbors who was taking pictures of us and yelling out her window at us. An HOA member then showed up and threatened to call the police on us for trespassing on the community beach walkway. The whole experience became very stressful and not conducive to a relaxing vacation. We did eventually receive partial compensation back from the rental company, which I appreciate, but I think they should be transparent with people from the beginning.

The home was great for our family vacation. The rooms were split up nicely and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside and outside of the house. The vicinity to the beach is unmatched for the price!

The house has a great layout and we loved the big screen tvs and multiple hang out places. It could use some maintenance but overall we were pleased. The beach access was closed due to hurricane beach erosion but we were able to use a neighboring access which wasn't bad at all
