Wild Duc Lodge family friendly and very private venue on the Olympic Peninsula

We have a great time.

There was a countywide power outage the day we arrived. But the property manager was very responsive and did everything he could do to help us. The fact that there were local people who could come to the property and help us right away was huge since we have stayed in properties where that was not the case. Thankfully, the power came back on the following morning, and the rest of our stay was wonderful. The property is very secluded, and sitting on the porch looking out at the backyard was very peaceful. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and playing ping pong in the rec room. It's a very short drive to the town of Forks, and we went to the beach and to the Hoh Rainforest from there. Our multi-generational party had a very good stay there.

We absolutely loved our stay here and plan on returning if we can! The location was gorgeous and peaceful with plenty of room. Since we cooked most of our meals here, we were thankful to have access to so many kitchen supplies as well. Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely home !

This was an amazing place!Beautiful inside and out. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Quiet, peaceful. The view was amazing. Convenient to Forks (stores, coffee shops, restaurants), access to mutilated outdoor activities (beaches, fishing, hiking, Hoh rain forest, SolDuc river/ hot springs).Very clean, with lots and lots of space and conveniences. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at the cabin for two nights and we wish that we had stayed much longer!! The cabin is nestled back in the woods down a long, secluded drive and has views of a gorgeous meadow and mountains. Both nights we saw elk grazing in the meadow. We spent most of our time sitting on the patio enjoying the quiet and the views! The cabin is spacious, very clean and very well stocked. This property far exceeded our expectations!!! The owner is a fishing guide and so there are pictures of enormous fish that they have caught all over the walls. We really enjoyed looking at all of the amazing catches! I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Forks area!! We all loved it!

The home and property was immaculate. The home was a very modern with plenty of room for everyone. The back deck, the fire pit and the beautiful view is where we spent most of our time. Highly recommend to anyone with a big group.

The house was perfect for our family get-together. Plenty of room, well stocked and an awesome ping pong table. We enjoyed the quiet property surrounded by forest and loved the private trail. Would love to visit again!

Group of 5 friends in our 40's and we had a wonderful stay at Wild Duc Lodge. House is spacious and clean, and has everything you could possibly need. Outdoor space is fantastic; we used the grill and fire pit, and enjoyed watching the elk each day. Forks is 8 minutes away and has grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Perfect location for exploring Olympic National Park. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fairly last minute, two night stay at Wild Duc Lodge. The lodge itself is beautiful, comfortable, and fully accommodating. They thought of everything. What we loved the most was the property. It is beautiful, well cared for, and everything we needed to make nice meals, and have a fire, while watching the elk bed down for the night. Wish we had more time to stay and explore, but we appreciated the time we got and the stay we had. Thank you so much to Jeff and Isabell.

The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided excellent recommendations for local activities. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. Spacious, peaceful property located in the forest and with beautiful views over the Sol Duc valley and mysterious elk. Convenient for Forks for groceries, etc.

Wild Duc was amazing. Unfortunately we had 4 people cancel, so the 6 of us had plenty of room to spread out. Loved watching the elk from the back patio in the beautiful back yard, and having a campfire. Everything we needed was there.

We had stayed here to gather our families for our wedding. Since options are limited to where our wedding was we wanted get creative and make our own family dinner. It was a perfect private location for our Wedding Dinner and for our family to stay in. Beautiful Views and amenities were beyond what I expected !

Ten of us just spent two nights at Wild Duc Lodge. The home is perfect for a large group; we shared cooking and eating in the large kitchen and dining area. Afterwards we watched soccer, movies, did puzzles and played games in the rec room. It was a perfect base camp for visiting beaches and the rain forest! We hope to return in the future…

We loved staying at this house. It’s quite hard to find somewhere with 10 beds for our group, and this place was great! The only complaint was that we only had 9 towels that we could find in the house and could have used more washcloths as well. We only stayed for 2 nights

House was in great condition and exactly what we needed for our family reunion. It is in a beautiful and secluded location outside of town, but downtown Forks is still just 5 minutes away. Kids (and adults!) loved seeing the Elk grazing and bunnies hopping. Host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we might need.

The property is fabulous. A true get away from it all place. Clean. Well-apportioned. Well-decorated. The owners have sweated the small stuff to make this a truly wonderful property. We even had a herd of Roosevelt elk wander past in the backyard!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sul Doc lodge. Surrounded by peaceful nature yet close to town and Olympic NP. The house was big enough for our 2 families. Has a short beautiful hike in the forest on the property.

All the comforts of home and more! First Time using VRBO and the home owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had! Very nice Home with a great view! Everything was clearly labeled and clean. Instructions were posted which made everything easy! Will definitely use again if we are in the area!

Our friends flew overseas to join us for a vacation at the Olympic National Parks. This vacation house left us an unforgettable memory. The location is in the center of the national park and has its own privacy. The yard is big and nice place for the kids to explore adventures. We will definitely recommend this to others and will be back for the next reunion.
