White Oak Cottage-Walk to Downtown Black Mountain

White Oak Cottage was incredibly clean. Thank you. The cottage is within walking distance to most shops in town.

The host was responsive, helpful, and flexible and assisted with a schedule change due to weather and also an extension of the reservation by a day. Very accomodating! The home was clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated, comfortable, perfect for our needs!

Everything was fine; good communication with the owners, great location with easy access to downtown, all the amenities I needed for a comfortable 2 week stay.

Perfectly lovely and cozy cottage nestled in Black Mountain. Wonderful hosts! I’m looking forward to returning sometime soon! 10 out of 10 stars!!

Loved this extremely clean and peaceful cottage. Excellent mattresses! I am always thankful for a great night of sleep - especially away from home. Everything you could need or want while on vacation is provided. The cottage is within walking distance of downtown Black Mountain. We loved our stay at White Oak cottage and hope to return soon!

our second visit to this property. 5 minute drive to downtown 3 minutes from the saturday farmers market. comfortable accomodations with two ensuite baths. beautiful kitchen and dining areas multiple tv. our favorite place to stay in black mountain.

We were extremely pleased with the White Oak Cottage for our weekend stay in Black Mountain. The home was well-equipped, clean, attractively furnished, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The landscaping surrounding the home was lovely too. Importantly for us, we had excellent sleep in the master king-size bed. We've experienced with travel that often the beds don't replicate the comfort of home. But, we rested as if we were at home and appreciated that comfort. We will definitely book this home again on our future trips to Black Mountain.

My daughters and I were quite pleased with our stay. The home was nicely updated and decorated, and very clean. The location was very quiet, a quick drive to town and perfectly walkable. The host was easily reachable and responsive. Check-in was easy! I would recommend this property.

We loved our stay in this cottage. Liz is an excellent host!

First impression was cozy, but it was quite spacious inside. One king bed and twins in a second bedroom. Each bedroom had a bath which was wonderful! The views from the back yard were beautiful.Unfortunately, there is an abandoned house next door, but you really only see it when driving in. It's well camouflaged when on the cottage property.We would return.

This is a very nice, quaint cottage with lots of contemporary updates.

The house was perfect for 3 older ladies. Many amenities. Close to everything in town. Loved how clean it was and the beds were very comfortable. No problems at all. You will love the quiet location!

We had a wonderful stay at the White Oak Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well-thought out and had everything we needed. Overall, it was truly a perfect place to spend 4 days. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. But, we will be back! :)

We had a wonderful stay in this cute and quaint cottage in beautiful Black Mountain. It was very clean, tidy and comfortable. It was conveniently located to all the activities we enjoy in the area - hiking, shopping and eating. We were sad to have to leave a day early to avoid the arrival of Hurricane Helene and hope this place survived the storm. We will definitely return!

What a glorious summer! I spent three wonderful months in the White Oak Cottage. Great location on dead-end(very quiet) street half a mile from downtown Black Mountain. I could get anywhere I needed to go in five minutes on my bike. The White Oak is very nicely updated and comfortably appointed. Everything you need is at hand. It’s nice having a full bath in second bedroom. The host is very nice and responsive, but i didn’t need to contact her for one damn thing in three months! The neighbors are very friendly. The White Oak Cottage is outstanding and I will return.
