Great, quiet location. Cabin was very unique with history. We had a nice stay, toured the property with a guide. We enjoyed a great dinner at Itavie and a wonderful breakfast at the Biscuit Batch, both in Spotsylvania

Staying here was an absolute delight! The cabin was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The property itself was fun to explore. We opted to have breakfast delivered in the morning, and the food was delicious. The owners were very accommodating and informative. I highly suggest staying here, and I'm already looking forward to our next trip back. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

Responsive, professional, and friendly communication. Beautiful property with the touch of a crew with attention to detail. We were passing through on our way home from vacation and this was a perfect alternative to a dreary hotel room. I would recommend for a short or long stay.

My husband and I stayed one night at the White Oak cabin on this lovely, historic property. The hospitality was wonderful, and the charcuterie tray in the room was perfect…. We loved the history and the preservation of it… As well as the modern or artistic accents. It felt a bit cramped for us, and perhaps the steep steps and super soft mattress, kept us from giving it a five star rating. One of the highlights was the walk in the woods early this morning.

It was a pleasant experience. The whole concept of the Ridge is a great idea. The atmosphere was very peacefully. I was traveling alone and was a little concerned at times. The other door that doesn’t lock was quite concerning. The water pressure and Wi-Fi were the only bad things I can say but in the scheme of things, compared to 1850 it was luxurious. I would stay again but not alone.

It’s such a small quaint little cabin !! It was truly enjoyable to me ! My husband and I had a couple of laughs with this place and getting out of the bed and hitting our heads on the rafters but it was truly enjoyable and I enjoyed laughing at one another! Nobody was hurt just little bumps. We had fun and you got to check out the German restaurant in town so cool to go to !! Enjoyed my stay immensely

My husband & I stopped here just overnight on a recent trip from NY to NC. It was the perfect alternative to staying in a hotel!
