Stayed May 9, 2024Very spacious and close to UNC campus as well as conveniences like Wegman's etc. Host was responsive to communication.

Stayed Nov 22, 2025Terrible property! The pictures posted do not represent the property. The fence surrounding the yard perimeters had holes in it. My dog escaped. The outdoor furniture has holes in it. Dirty and worn. The bed “headboards” are decals supposed to be glued to the walls. They are peeling off the walls. The upstairs toilet continually runs. The downstairs faucet’s screen was closed and the water trickled out. Leaves and grass covered the outside back walls. If you stay make sure you get current pictures of the property.

Stayed Mar 11, 2024What wasn’t great: The house smelled musty upon entering. The main living room had no lighting. The one couch was saggy and covered with ill-fitted covers. There was one tiny side table in the living room, so no place to put down a coffee cup. The kitchen had an inadequate supply of glasses & cups and there was no dishwasher soap. Also no instructions on use of appliances or tv. What was good: kitchen itself was spacious and well set up. The large dining room table accommodated 5 wet well. The beds were very comfortable, with great pillows and good storage in all bedrooms; the two bathrooms had excellent water pressure and plenty of storage. The location was a short walk from a Wegman’s. Basically this is a very nice house that felt neglected and like an after thought in regards to guest comfort. It wouldn’t take much to make it more welcoming to guests.

Stayed Feb 20, 2024Our stay started out poorly in that we never heard from anyone. 5 hours before we arrived, I text the owner and they acted like we were trying to book the place. They demanded ID before they would give us info, despite that we were paid up for weeks. Other than a couple of dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the house was very clean, including bathrooms. But it was very cluttered, unlike the photos, which were obviously old. The 2 tables didn't match the photos and there was added furniture in the living room. Beds were comfortable, but the kings were in basement rooms. The carpet in one basement room needed cleaning and was rippled enough that you could trip. The backyard was unkept and a bit dangerous if you have kids. Lots of plant boxes and irrigation pipes sticking above the ground, not like the photos. The living room TV had 5 remotes sitting near it. One was chewed up. There were no instructions and was difficult to figure out. There was no welcome book for WiFi, checkout and other info. We had to text the owner for the WiFi info, but they didn't give us the correct password. Very frustrating. Would we stay here again? No, not based on the price point for the property.

Stayed Aug 29, 2022We stayed a week here when gathering to meet new addition to our family - baby granddaughter :) It was a nice space with enough room to have separate baths & quarters for our group of 5 and 2 additional came up on weekend to join in. We mostly spent our time out on deck under the umbrella, as weather was accommodating.

Stayed Aug 4, 2022Family stayed here when in town for a wedding. The house was spacious and comfortable, the yard was nice, and the location is convenient to both Durham and Chapel Hill.

Stayed May 13, 2022We had a comfortable stay at this property. The location is wonderful, near both Duke and UNC. We were visiting a relative staying at UNC medical center and this house was big enough to house three adults. Thank you.
