White Mtn Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Our families traveled together with kids ranging from ages 3–8, and the house was perfect for all of us. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and still feel cozy together—exactly what you want in a cabin getaway.Even though the weather was very cold, it didn’t slow us down one bit. The location was fantastic: we enjoyed a nearby arcade (a huge hit with the kids!) and went tubing, which was such a fun winter adventure for the whole group. After being out in the cold, coming back to the warm, comfortable cabin and sitting by the fire was the best feeling.The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully set up for all of us. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived and truly made our trip special. The kids had an amazing time in the bunk room, the adults were able to relax, and we made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.We would absolutely recommend this house to other families or groups looking for a fun, cozy, and memorable getaway in NH—no matter how cold the weather gets!

Perfect mountain getaway for our young families. Susan was very responsive and helpful with local attraction suggestions. If with kids definitely check out the arcade/penny candy store (2 min away). The ice castles in North Woodstock had also opened which was a nice day out with my 5 year old (tubing and ice slides were his favorite parts). For the adults, stop in at least once for a coffee at Mad River Roasters. The highlight though was probably the hike on the Smarts Brook Trail (trailhead with easy parking is 8 minutes from the house.) Great stay - would highly recommend.

Truly a wonderfully authentic White Mountain Getaway! Very accommodating hosts always within reach if need be. You are truly a guest in their home. The owners have provided you with everything you would possibly require for your stay. Very comfortable and cozy. The home is beautifully tucked in nature yet close to area attractions & necessities. Very peaceful, private & safe location. Life slows down here for sure. You may even be visited by a local deer family solidifying the solitude of the property. Please don’t wait to visit. You will love it here. We did!

It was our 4th time staying here. So many great activities around and the location is immaculate. No bear sightings, but here's hoping for next year!

We had an amazing time at this house. We needed a place convenient to Plymouth State University that could house a bunch of family to celebrate graduation weekend and this place was perfect. Thanks.

The house was perfect for our family of four for a weekend ski trip; lots of room and could easily accommodate more. Convenient location was a short drive to multiple mountains.

Great home Microwave was broken not a game changer but inconvenient First floor tub/shower was cloged and made for interesting showers No towels, and bedding was a bit inconvenient but just something we felt with We had to shovel walk way to home and the walk way on the deck.

We had the most amazing time at this home in the white mountains! The home is a quick drive from Waterville valley, where we skied and spent our day. When it got too cold to ski we went over to the Waterville Valley town center for some tubing which was extremely fun! The host of this home was so responsive and helpful! The house was so clean and cozy! Sitting by the fire place, watching it snow was beautiful. The host even gave us some delicious dinner and apres ski recommendations. She recommended local restaurants and activities which we tried and had a blast! We went to the six burner bistro for dinner and the coyote grille for some apres ski drinks. We will definitely rent this home again next year for our annual girls ski trip!

It's our third time staying here and would hopefully do it again next year. So much fun, and close to many activities. Owners are very available and communicative. Would highly recommend!!
