Really nice house except no shade in master bedroom to block out night time moon light and really squeaky bed needs replacement woke up the house never slept at night and the dryer does not dry the clothes
Very nice unit which was clean and comfortable. A big plus was it’s closeness to the Sapphire Valley club. The big negative was the closeness to the major thoroughfare. There was constant noise from large trucks which ran during daylight hours. We would not stay in this unit again.
Our family enjoyed the stay, close to the ski area and easy to locate,
Had a great time! Would stay here again. Had an issue with the faucet and someone was there to fix it 30 minutes later. Very clean and convenient to sapphire ski resort. Definitely take advantage of the amenities passes for great discounts on skiing and for access to the rec center.
Enjoyed our time at the property and have a few constructive criticisms. Add more hanging hooks in bathroom areas. Showerhead in the guest bathroom was loud and the spray was uncomfortable. WiFi Internet is absolutely awful. Got to figure out a way to improve WiFi. Fortunately we brought an ethernet cable to plug directly into modem router with us that improved the internet slightly as the WiFi only would have been a disaster for remote work. There was quite a bit of dust clumps under the furniture in various areas, so that is an area for improvement. Wish there would have been a key code emailed in advance so we could go straight to property instead of having to check in at property managers location. Overall had a great experience and would stay there again. It was great having access to Sapphire Valley resort amenities.
We very much enjoyed our stay. This was the right property in the right location for our plans in the Cashiers area. We are already planning to return.
This is a beautiful spacious home in a quiet small development. Close to Cashiers but also feels remote. The house is well kept and was very clean. We would 100% stay here again. Only complaints were minor: It would be nice for the house to have small shampoo/conditioners for guest usage. And, it is difficult to find the check-in area (which is remote from the property) at night-time. Directions to this area could be clearer.
Cozy home. Had everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay.
Although the amenities are listed, please be aware they are NOT onsite, and require you to drive a 1/2 to 3/4 mile. The property is isolated but beautiful. As most reviewers suggest, you are in the woods and will see a bear. We had an issue with brown water in the showers, the night before we left, which the property manager contact, didn’t seem to agree on the gravity of the situation.
We experienced the beauty of NC at its finest at this property! Mama Bear and her three baby bears were by almost every night along with deer, birds and cool insects like the Stick Bug! When you come to NC....keep in mind, you are in the Mountains of Sapphire Valley! As a result, WiFi is spiratic at times! Great location to Cashier shops and Ingles; the local grocery store! Lots to do and beautiful trails to some incredible waterfalls! Would definitely stay at this home again!
