Whales and Outstanding Rocky Surf Views from this Depoe Bay Oceanfront Perch!

We loved the view in just about every room!! The house was old and needs some work but it was so cute and we loved it!! It felt like a home and not just some rental. We will definitely try to rent this home again.

This home felt like staying at a friend’s beach house. Excellent views! We had everything we needed for our stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely perfect for whale watching!

The location and view were absolutely outstanding! We loved being able to walk into town with our children for dinner each evening, and we could have spent hours just sitting in the window chairs watching the whales and soaking in the scenery. Truly a special setting.That said, it felt like we were staying in two different houses. The kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated and feel fresh and modern, but the rest of the house is very dated—with old carpet and furnishings that give off a strong musty odor as soon as you walk in. The contrast was surprising.Overall, we absolutely loved the location and views, but the condition of the house outside of the updated areas left a lot to be desired.

The property was gorgeous! It is in the perfect location to walk into town and peruse the shops, or stay in and whale watch. The kitchen is amazing; I truly enjoyed watching and listening to the ocean as I cooked. I can see that parking is a little difficult during high tourist times, but we had no problems. That is mostly due to the fact we stayed in, or walked wherever we wanted to go. Local fish shop Crabby Daddy was our go to for fresh seafood. Fairly priced and incredibly fresh.

Location was great. Spacious and beautiful views. Very relaxing. The home was clean if a little dated in places. But great for a weekend getaway

We enjoyed our time here ! The place was clean and looking out the windows from the recliners was totally awesome! We thought we must be in heaven!

The only problem with this location is that you won't want

Communication with host (Meredith Lodging) was prompt, but curt. We had a family emergency and couldn’t check in until Sat (rental began Friday). I didn’t expect a refund for Friday, but maybe some sort of consolation or at least a late check out for our 25th anniversary trip (which was denied….despite the fact that they knew that we were celebrating this milestone).. Check out was 10 am (which is definitely on the early side). I guess that’s what you get with a larger management company. The home was amazing, but don’t expect warm customer service or any flexibility.

This house is well situated on Depoe Bay. There were amazing views of waves from every room. The light on the harbor entrance allowed you to see the waves even at night. It was very comfortable and nicely remodeled. Convenient to the shops and restaurants. A great stay!

The view was amazing. We saw humpback whales just below our window. The newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. You might want to invest in some new bedding and get rid of the tired old sheets and coverlet. Also suggest a new set a knives that are actually sharp.

We loved our stay overlooking the ocean and even spotted a whale! Thanks for the beautiful stay.

Overall the property and the stay was excellent. The only think that it needed is that the blinds in the bedroom were in need of repair. They didn't close.

This house was absolutely everything!! Who doesn’t love an amazing ocean view when eating dinner, enjoying the fire place or even doing the dishes! During our stay the weather was horrible and all of our plans were cancelled but, we made the most of Depoe Bay staying here was exactly what we needed! Will definitely be booking again!
