WFH-Friendly Vacation Rental in DC!

This property is amazing. Amazingly kept, amazingly comfortable and has everything you need. Public transportation is close, if you’re adventurous enough to figure out the bus/metro route. Uber and Uber eats were my friend. If you decide to rent a car, there is parking at the home, however to drive and park near the attractions would seem to be difficult to me. Danielle is very responsive, very gracious and was always there to help. This property is close to the National Mall and is in a very safe neighborhood and location. I would definitely come back!!

Our stay was awesome. We had great communication from host . Location is a quiet area and close to National Mall and central DC . House was clean and nice and met our needs.

The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. The tenant who rents the other part of the cottage was very kind and gave my husband some good tips on the places we visited. Dannie was very easy to work with and responsive when we reached out with any questions.

Clean and well maintained, quiet neighborhood

Centrally located to see monuments, National Zoo, Arlington Cemetery and many great sites. This is a lovely home and beautifully decorated. This made our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend!

The house was nice. It was in a nice location and having the driveway was convenient. I was unaware that I could not have more than 4 guest at ALL TIMES throughout my visit. I thought I couldn't have more than 4 guest spend the night. It would have been nice to have our friends (who live in the area) over instead of going to their house all the time. The house was almost 80 degrees when we arrived, but after several hours and talking with the owner she was able to get the house to 72. She waited until we arrived to change the thermostat. We were also told we can't wear shoes in the house and roll our suitcases on the floor.

Convenient location in northern DC. House is as advertised. Met all the needs of our family. A mile from two metro stops. Nice urban neighborhood.

The house was great! It was comfortable, clean, and close to the metro. Having driveway parking was great! The property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond.

House was very comfortable for visiting the sights of the city and being with our son who is working in DC. We enjoyed the open living area for relaxing and some meal preparation. Host was very accommodating.

All amenities of well- prepared home (well appointed furnishings, kitchen ready for cooks or quick bites, excellent layout for couples or families.Easy to travel around to DC sites, work from this home, or enjoy nights of rest! Thanks Dannie- a superbly responsive host.

We enjoyed our stay in NE Washington very much! The host was quick to respond to my phone calls and questions and was wonderful about meeting our needs.

This property is by far one of the best instayed. Very spacious, comfortable beds and in a beautiful quiet area. When we had minor hiccups or just needed things adjusted the owner comunicated quickly and efficiently. She did all she could to make myself and guest as comfortable and happy as possible. I appreciate her for it all.

Cute and comfortable house convenient to Fort Totten Transit Station which took us to all the DC sites. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Screened porch needed a little TLC but otherwise we were happy.

What a terrific place to spend a week in the DC area! Ten minutes from the Metro, just a few stops from downtown. Comfortable, clean home, with good wifi and anything you would need if you are here for a work trip or personal travel! Responsive and lovely owner. I'd definitely recommend it!

Went with my parents for an event at the Basilica and found this gem of a place. Exactly as described, location is great, nice and quiet neighborhood and close to where we needed to go. We loved it!

We enjoy our stay at the house. It is in a very pleasing neighborhood. Quiet area, but very close to Downtown. Our host was very helpful during our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. I will definitely make this our go to place when visiting DC. The home was absolutely wonderful. We loved it. It was quaint, lovely and peaceful. The location was perfect and minutes away from my daughter’s home. The owner communicated constantly. Highly recommend this home.

The owner was incredibly responsive to our questions/requests. There were nice touches throughout (we particularly liked the personalized welcome on the chalkboard and the cookies in the sitting area). The kitchen was well stocked. The house was decorated in a wonderful way to make it feel very cozy.

The house was as cute as can be and not far from downtown D.C. it was nice to spend the day visiting the museums but coming back and it feeling like home. Beautiful kitchen and bedrooms. Loved the character of the home. Owner was very responsive and it was nice having someone local to give us advice and little bits of wisdom to help us during our vacation.

Absolutely beautiful property! My favorite part was back deck. I miss being able to sit outside in the sun or the warm night air. Growing up north of DC this was a perfect place to visit my daughters living there now. Thank you very much and i look forward to reaching out for next year's stay!

My family had a great stay here! We came to see the sites in DC and it was wonderful to have a comfortable, clean place to stay after long days! The kitchen was awesome if you plan to cook! The sofa was so comfortable as well as the beds! We felt welcome and everything was easy! Thanks for letting us stay here! We would book again!!

My son and I travelled to visit DC and see all the sites… this was a perfect location for us! It was a 15 minute walk to the transit center to get right to the Capital and the neighborhood was very safe and lovely to walk through. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip over!
