Wexler on Lakeside is an iconic 4-bedroom, 3-bath mid-century modern home designed by Donald Wexler, the same architect behind the iconic Palm Springs International Airport. Set on a golf course in Southeast Palm Springs, just off East Palm Canyon Drive, the home features clean architectural lines, walls of glass, and classic indoor-outdoor flow, with mountain and fairway views that define timeless desert living.

The home offers bright, open living areas, four well-appointed bedrooms,and three full bathrooms, along with seamless access to outdoor spaces ideal for relaxing by the pool, enjoying sunset cocktails, or starting the day with coffee overlooking the greens. Original mid-century character is paired with modern comforts for an easy, comfortable stay.

Located in Southeast Palm Springs, the home provides quick access to downtown Palm Springs and effortless connections to Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and the rest of the Coachella Valley, making it an ideal base for exploring the entire region.

A classic Palm Springs retreat for guests who appreciate architecture, sunshine, and relaxed desert living.

The city restricts a 4 bedroom home to a maximum of 8 adults, plus 2 children age 12 or under. The maximum number of cars is 2 parked in front of the house only. Please do not park in front of any other homes on the street. You will have access to the whole home except the garage, pantry to the right of fridge, and the primary closet (an armoire is available for your use)

Use of spa heat and jets is controlled by an iPad mounted inside the kitchen slider and is at no charge. It you would like the pool heated if will be $150/day, min 2 days and ordered 1 day in advance.

Property Notes:
Our pool service professional, Johnathan, visits Tuesday and Friday mid-mornings to maintain the pool.

The gardener stops by briefly every 15 days (we’ll let you know the scheduled day during your stay).

The City of Palm Springs collects and returns the trash bins every Tuesday.

For security and insurance purposes, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras only. There are no cameras inside the home.

Please keep in mind that you will be cited or fined by the City, or even immediately evicted by the owner, for creating a disturbance or for violating any provisions of the City’s Vacation Rental Ordinance. The minimum fine is $500 per violation. The surrounding neighbors have been given a 24-hour number to CALL should they need to report a complaint.

NO MUSIC or SOUND (TV, cell phone, radio, etc) are allowed outside at any time. Any type of SOUND from any sound producing device is not allowed outside of your Vacation Rental unit. This includes music coming from the inside of the home that can be heard outside. If your neighbors can hear the noise, you are in violation of the City Ordinance.

While NO MUSIC or SOUND (TV, cell phone, radio, etc) are allowed outside at any time, QUIET TIME is between 10pm and 10am. Please consider moving indoors after 10pm. If you choose to be outside, please be considerate of the neighbors and use low voices. Please remember our neighborhoods are quiet, surrounded by mountains and voices can easily carry.

POOL TIME is one of the most popular activities to enjoy in Palm Springs. Please keep voices and pool activities to a reasonable level. Continued and ongoing screaming for an extended period of time is one way to disturb the neighbors. Please be thoughtful.

CALL from the neighbors to the City will bring Code Compliance Officers to your door. Our officers may issue you a citation if you exceed the allowed noise levels or if another violation is observed. So please, keep the noise down and be considerate of the neighbors. You may be on vacation, but other occupants in homes around your vacation home may not be.
