Il Cielo: Holiday Gatherings Under the Stars, Sleeps 10+ - Permit #475

The house, landscaping and setting are all spectacularly beautiful and so comfortably appointed. It's a lovely area, both private and very close to town. The management team was so helpful and responsive. Our whole family had a wonderful time.

The prior posts didn't lie, this place is gorgeous. The house is a work of art filled with fine art everywhere you look. The landscaping, which was immaculately maintained, perfectly meshed with the surrounding desert hillsides. And the view! Wow! The kids (and the adults) enjoyed the heated pool and various pool floaties.Although we were hesitant to leave the home we ventured out to Joshua park, the Living Zoo, and enjoyed numerous restaurants downtown. Despite eating out most of the time we had the food delivered often so that we could enjoy the house as much as possible. The hosts were great to work with. We had a minor issue which turned out to be nothing, but they were very responsive to our needs. Five stars. This was the best VRBO our family has ever stayed at. No question.

We are not strangers to vacation rentals and this was BY FAR our best experience. Usually a property looks great online, and then we arrive, and it is very much lacking. The gorgeous photos of this property were 100% accurate- if anything, the house is even BETTER in person. Everything was sparkling clean; the amenities were amazing; from the fresh flowers to the little soaps and shampoos to the bottle of champagne in the fridge- it was a magical week. I felt like a movie star staying here. And the scenery and views were so beautiful they almost did not look real! Ginny was super friendly and responsive and went over and above for us. If I could give ten stars I would!!! This property is truly THE BEST!

This property is so beyond beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice! The hosts were wonderful and very prompt with any questions we had. Check in and check out were a breeze. The house is 5-15 min to pretty much anywhere, including the airport. The whole experience was 12/10!

Really enjoyed

We have been coming to Palm Springs with another family during our fall break for 7 years. We have always stayed in Old Las Palmas and this year we ventured out of our comfort zone a bit and stayed in the hills above. This house was stunning and the views were spectacular and well worth it! The kitchen was a perfect gathering place while cooking and then we sat at the table outside while eating dinner and enjoying bevy's. We had some amazing walks from the property in the mornings in the morning and and also early evenings. Would definitely come back! One thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms is quite a bit bigger than the rest so it was hard to figure out how who would get that room (and 2 bathrooms). Besides that, the rest of the house was perfect with another family.

We had planned on staying at this beautiful property for our annual visit to Palm Springs. Unfortunately due to a last-minute family emergency we had to cancel our trip. My husband was in communication with the property owner to let them know of the change in plans and they were nothing but gracious and understanding. My rating is based on the beautiful pictures, the feedback from past guests and from responsive communication from the property owner. We will definitely stay at this property when we are able to rebook.

Previous reviews are all spot on: 1. Check in/out was a breeze. 2. Ginny & Team were always minutes away for questions. 3. Plenty of house amenities to keep you from running out to a store. Now I want to bring up some things that might be easy to miss if you’re strictly going by the description or pictures. 1. Scale! This is going to sound cliché, but the pictures don’t do the house justice. Yes, the pictures are amazing, but they can’t really show the absolute scale of everything. When you first walk into the main entrance, you’re going to be blown away about how BIG everything is: the view, the floor-to-ceiling windows and the house itself. It really is unreal. 2. Cleanliness! The house was spotless. My group challenged each other to find imperfections, that’s how well kept this place is. 3. Location! If you look at the house on a map, it looks out of the way but in reality, it’s just a couple minutes outside of everything. This might be more of a nod to Palm Springs but navigating around is just so easy. The house itself is easy to get into/out of with its circular driveway and garage. 4. Tesla Charger! Speaking of the garage there was a Tesla charger built right in. That was insanely convenient as it kept us from either using a 110v (which would take forever) or planning our trips around local superchargers. If you’re looking to vacation in Palm Springs and this house is in your budget, you will not find anything better.

We had the best time on our first getaway post-pandemic at Il Cielo. A truly stunning property, easy check-in and check-out process, and thoughtful and conscientious property manager. We hope to be back!
