Westlake Holiday Cottage

Location was great for the purpose of our trip with an easy walk to the town's facilities. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and functional and provided everything we needed for a base to spend a week in Jurien Bay. The host was very easy to deal with and responded to communications very quickly. I'd recommend this property and will be booking for our annual trip to Jurien Bay again. Thanks Rudy

Overall, our stay was pretty average. The condition and cleanliness of the property were not impressive. We had to rewash all the cutlery and even the cutlery tray from the top kitchen drawer because they were so dirty and unhygienic.The laundry basket was a shame — I couldn’t believe the host would leave such a completely wrecked basket for guests. I even had to take a photo because it was such a joke.The furniture is very old, and the cabinets were full of mixed table games — basically a pile of rubbish in the coffee table area of the living room.The beds were extremely uncomfortable; I would have rather slept on the floor, but I couldn’t, because after moving the couch (our kids accidentally kicked the TV remote underneath), we found dirt and dust clogged underneath it.Suggestion to the host: Please check the work of your cleaner and invest even a small amount into improving the property. It would make a big difference to guest satisfaction.Considering all of the above, we were surprised to receive a 1‑star rating for our 2‑night stay. We have two very young kids and did our best to maintain the tidiness of the property.The complaint we received was about the single beds being shifted in the bedrooms, some sand on the living room floor (which is expected when the backyard has no grass and is full of sand), a small spill in the fridge, and the BBQ not being cleaned after our last use — which we simply forgot.Regards!

Very convenient to everything in town. Easy access to the beaches and bike trail. Air con and covered carport made our 2 day stay very comfortable in Jurien Bay.

We stay this weekend every year & have done for quite a few years. Home is always clean, spacious & suits us perfectly. Have booked again for next year.

A wonderful house located a 10-minute walk from the beach. The house has everything you need, including a great gas grill on the alfresco. There's covered parking for two cars.

Wonderful place to stay, the place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Even better as it has a large fully enclosed backyard for the dogs to play. Will stay here again next time we are in Jurien Bay.

The host had prompt and polite conversation/replies. The accomodations are extremely well equipped for a young family. It's a convenient location with a nearby playground and walking distance to the jetty area.

Great communication by the host. A cute, tidy, everything you need, beach shack on a big block, walking distance to the beach. Perfect for families and small groups. Very good value for money in this economy. A very relaxing stay. Would be happy to go back again in the future!

Great house for family’s

Great location within walking distance to the beach, parks and shops. The house was clean and comfortable with a large secure backyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Kitchen was OK , but need to change certain vessels and the kettle . Laundry was fine . Hot water flow not the best .

Good old days holiday “Bach”, perfect for our short stay. Maybe would be hot in bedrooms in summer with only ceiling fans???Would love to stay again!!

Laundry/linen service was helpful. Would prefer gas to cook on but personal preference. Clean and tidy and exactly as advertised

Our stay was very relaxing for the 2 days we were there.House was lovely plenty of room the only thing was as a person who has just had a hip replacement lounge was very comfortable but very low.

Well kept, secure, clean, neat and tidy. Had everything we needed. Skate park was close for the kids, walking distance to town and jetty. Was perfect for our weekend away and motorcross racing.

House smelt pretty bad, like old mouldy carpet. Maybe that was why there were at least five air fresheners placed around - which, to be honest, made it smell worse. Cheap fragrance over old smells. Also, it’s Winter. There were no blankets in the house. Bed was made up with one light, summer bedspread. That’s it. Luckily I had a blanket in the car. Two stars because my dog was allowed outside

House very clean and comfortable. Could not fault presentation with exception of cold water tap in kitchen being jammed and hard to turn. Feel that the front steps need a hand rail as very dangerous for elderly people. Had a very enjoyable time

The location for us was great. The house was very old, but neat and reasonably tidy. However the cold water in kitchen didn't work and you could only use one bathroom at a time otherwise you lost water pressure. The steps at the front of house are very old, need replacing and a hand rail would be useful. For the price we would possibly stay again.

The place was clean but very basic. Bed was uncomfortable, no internet and cheep linen.

Comfortable, qaint property in central location to everything. Just what we needed poat 1 month camping on our way home back down south.

Good house, good location!

The property was well equipped. Had everything thing we needed. Had plenty of game and toys for our children to play with. The house was very clean and tidy. Big back yard for the kids to run around in . Its in a great spot a play ground just down the road and not far from the beach.

We found the house neat and tidy and there were plenty of amenities. We were disappointed with the yard. The back yard is basically a sand pit, totally unusable and the front yard does not look anything like the photos.

We had such a great stay at the cottage! It has everything you need for short of longer stay. Excellently equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and washing machine was handy to have. Great sized yard and the kids loved the books and toys. Playground round the corner and a short walk to the beach. Hoping to stay again in the future!

nice little house on the quiet side of town, very well kept for its age. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying here every time we need accommodation in Jurien. The owners were fantastic to deal with and were very accommodating.

Great family house to stay and sleep when you need somewhere close to town. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Fan in spare room is very noisy.

Great location quiet area just what we needed also great that we could bring our beloved dog with us. Clean tidy home everything that we needed was there. Weather was good to us enjoyed walking along the beach while my partner enjoyed fishing from the jetty.
