West Twin Lake 4 season home!

The host was very communicative and the house was everything we needed. We had 2 families enjoy it and utilized the lake for ice fishing. Plenty of room for parking two trucks with trailers in the circle drive. Very comfortable in the cabin for cooking, playing games, watching tv in the large family room with the great view of the lake. We will totally return for either more winter fun or try it for summer enjoyment.

Wonderful rental over New Year’s holiday at The Lake House, just as advertised & host was attentive after we checked in to make sure we had any questions. Would recommend this home/host and would stay again!

The lake house is lovely- one part original log cabin charm, one part high-ceiling great room/mud-laundry/king bedroom suite addition. Great view out to West Twin. Clean and comfortable. We stayed over Thanksgiving with adult siblings and our kids. Overall a good experience, and we were glad to have the rental while visiting aged parents. Jeff was thorough and welcoming, made sure to communicate that the snow-removal folks were headed over on Thanksgiving morning. We were even allowed to check-in early! Our only disappointment was that the beds are inaccurate on the VRBO listing. One bedroom has ONE set of bunk beds- a twin over full; NOT two bunk beds as the listing description with bed emoji-characters shows. The other bedroom is most certainly a full-size bed, NOT a queen as listed. The third room is, in fact, a king bed. Not a deal-breaker overall, but it did require some people in our party to sleep in non-bed areas. We would stay again, with this prior knowledge to plan better. :-)

The pet accommodations were good, our dog really enjoyed the outside yard and playing by the water. It was very peaceful, just what we were looking for. The house had everything you could need to enjoy your stay. It is close to other areas if you want to take a day trip. The colors on the trees were beautiful. I imagine that the summer time would be a great time on the lake.

Up north feel with modern living. Original cottage restored with good taste and flows into newer addition! Pines, firepit, large yard & well maintained.

Our stay was great! The property was beautiful, we enjoyed the kayaks and bonfire, and it was a great place for our entire family to be.

Beautiful “up north” property. The kids enjoyed the Kayaks surf boards. The weather was perfect in late August.

Wonderful week

We enjoyed the house, the heat and hot water worked well in the cold temperatures. Plenty of towels and bedding for everyone and the location was ideal!

Fabulous experience — Lovely house. Great bed and view in primary bedroom. Wonderful yard and lake access. Clean. Comfy living room. Wonderful engagement from hosts. Only challenge was walking our dogs in the morning. We hope to return in the future.

We had a great time at this lake house and reserved it for next summer before we checked out! We had 11 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The owners were great to communicate with on any questions we had. We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

The house and property were great. What we liked the most: House was spacious, clean, and well stocked. We appreciated all of the extra beach towels. The lot was very deep and wide so plenty of room outside. Nice fire pit. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with the one issue we had. Nice beachfront and boat parking options. Nice to be able to borrow the kayaks and extra chairs. Well water tasted great. The only thing we didn't love was the pull out sofa as a sleeping space. It might be okay for kids though. Overall it was a great lake house.

Beautiful property for a family get together our grandchildren 18-5 years old. The kids enjoyed having a yard to play games in and not just sand. The shallowness of the lake was great for the young as well as teens. The house was exceptionally clean and supplied with all you need.

Enjoyed our week at the lake house with all the comforts of home. The owners are wonderful hosts, the lake is perfect for swimming and water sports, and the house is well-stocked with everything you might need. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!

Very spacious property, both inside and out. Pictures don’t do it justice in terms of size. Fully equipped kitchen. Lake is beautiful. Highly recommended.
