Jacky and Kai were so friendly.

The owners have converted the master bedroom of an older, mid-century home into a personal hotel room with a private pool. The room is spacious, offers a very comfortable king-sized bed, and has its own private access from its own private patio area. The property was immaculately clean and offers a good-sized walk-in closet and bathroom vanity area, complete with a mini-fridge, microwave oven, guest and pool towels - and the step-in shower offers a rain shower with AMAZING pressure! The best part - the property offers a private, heated, in-ground pool and spa. The entire VRBO area of the property has been nicely updated and includes a mini-split for guests' comfort in the blazing Palm Springs heat. While this property is in an older area of Palm Springs, the entire area is redeveloping, and it was quick 3-minute drive to downtown. The owners are friendly and have tried to think of everything to ensure their guests' comfort. Even though the property sits on a corner, it was amazingly quiet at night - no noise problems at all. This was during the Coachella festival, so rooms at hotels were at a premium and harder to get - and we were anticipating crowds with COVID circulating through them. This property was at market rate, but had great reviews (which were no exaggeration), and offered a private pool, which seemed like - and was - a great choice to enjoy a pool privately and with no screaming kids and no risk of exposure to COVID. We highly recommend this property!

This was a perfect place for me. Jacky and his partner are terrific people. They were so helpful. The property was clean and very comfortable with some very special touches: a bowl of fruit on my arrival, the fridge loaded with water, milk and soft drinks, cuddly bathrobes, a great selection of teas and coffee, clean towels every day! I will most certainly consider returning the next time I am in Palm Springs.

Jacky is a very warm, welcoming, and attentive host without being the least bit intrusive. The unit is clean and well appointed and we appreciated the fruit basket and beverages stocked in the fridge.

Check-in was very easy. The suite was very clean. The hot tub was great. Highly recommend!

Very kind, accommodating hosts. They kindly provided lots of water, fruit, and even a bottle of wine! Great hot tub. Outdoor space is somewhat noisy, but inside it's quiet. We were very comfortable.

My wife and I had a wonderful birthday stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure everything was well taken care of and kept quiet and clean throughout our visit. The location was very convenient to everything and all of the artwork displayed was simply amazing. We would definitely recommend and would surely consider staying here again.

Super nice

Jacky and Kai were welcoming and attentive hosts. The property is very clean, safe, quiet, but centrally located. Spa was perfect way to relax after a day of hiking.

I think long and hard before I ever leave a negative review but I felt it was fair based upon my experience. Jacky, the host, is a lovely person and this review is based solely upon the property and the advertisement. Pros: Jacky was welcoming and responsive. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Cons: The property was very disappointing. I booked this location because of the ‘private pool and hot tub’. The pool and hot tub were not private. You have to walk through the front driveway and through a side gate to get in to the yard where the pool and hot tub are. They are directly outside of the owner’s living area and there is no privacy nor any way to access it from the side of the house where you are staying. There is no way to heat up food. The ad says no cooking, but you should at least be able to heat up leftovers in your room. I was told that if we needed a microwave I should just knock on their door and I could use their microwave. You cannot lock the bathroom door. The lock is glued so you cannot turn it. There is a sprayer on the wall next to the toilet that I believe is meant to be used like a bidet. There was dried fecal matter on the sprayer. The shower is small and not suitable for the ‘only one door’ trend. Water ended up all over the floor. The dishes are kept in a cupboard under the sink and the only cutlery was two knives and everything else was plasticware. We were very disappointed and checked out two days early.
