West Ketchum Sun Valley French Cottage - 5 Blocks to Main Street

We loved the location and the house was well stocked! Couple things I think are worth mentioning for future guests is the “cubbies” are essentially closets with futons in them and no windows so not really sleepable. Also I know there is no way to avoid this but there was a house being built right behind us so every day at 8am there was a lot of construction noise, impossible to sleep in - especially given there is no A/C so you need to sleep with the windows open. Overall we loved our stay which is why I’m giving 5 stars, but if we had needed to use the cubbies we would have been in trouble. I think there should be pictures of them so guests know what to expect.

Beautiful home and garden in a French Country style. The home was immaculate, comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed, including lawn chairs for the summer outdoor concert series in town.

The house was just perfect for our family of 8 and Richard Lomas is an excellent host! We walked everywhere, had room to hang out in the beautiful back yard, and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen! Highly recommend this property.

Perfect location. Cozy home w personal touches that doesn’t feel like a rental. Heated driveway a plus in the winter, along w garage & hot tub. Best views & light in West Ketchum.

The property was lovely - decor French countryside in Ketchum, and great location-close to downtown. Easy and quick drive to River Run. Rooms cozy and beds comfortable. One thing about the futons in the cubbies - the futons are on the floor- not on a frame so not really a comfortable place to sleep unless you are a child. Kitchen was great well stocked. Enjoyed our stay very much and the property manager, Richard was fabulous. Thank you for a great stay.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay over NYE. The house was well appointed, very comfortable, and a perfect location to town and to Baldy. Richard was also really helpful, easy to connect with and proactively made sure that our stay went well. Highly recommend staying here if it's available.

The home in Ketchum had it all; incredibly well outfitted with the highest quality towels and linens on a par with a five star hotel. The home itself made you feel like you were in a Chateau in the French countryside. Walking distance to town and outdoor skating in a quaint neighborhood less than a mile to the lifts as well as the Sun Valley Lodge. Plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy meals and time together for our family of ten. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location, owner communicates very well and provides excellent welcome/departure documentation, high quality amenities and no unpleasant surprises. I would gladly return to this property without hesitation. At the time of my stay there were several bikes available in the garage which allowed us to quickly get around town. This was a nice surprise because I was prepared to rent 'townie bikes' for my family of four but used these instead - very convenient and appreciated. Especially enjoyed the backyard flower beds while relaxing on the comfortable rear patio after full days of hiking and biking.

Outstanding family home in a great location of west Ketchum. Beautiful yard and outdoor dining space. We stayed for over 2 weeks and the house had every supply/amenity that we required for an excellent vacation. We had a heat wave while at the house and it stayed quite cool and comfortable. Quick access into town either walking or on a bike. We hope to return!!

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect. Well stocked. Tons of space. Great for our family. Host was remarkably responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all!

We had a great spring week here, with three generations gathered for a graduation. The house and apartment were perfect. Kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed the hot tub and made extensive use of the BBQ. The location was great - everything in Ketchum is easily walkable from here, and it’s easy to pick up the bike path. Amazing stay - highly recommend!
