West Elm House: The Seven-Eighty

Beautiful setting. Well maintained.

I typically do not leave reviews, but this house was incredibly special. We were a group of 6 college friends, all in our 40's and moms, on our first vacation together in years. The home was perfection. There was plenty of space for all of us. The flow of the home was perfect for both spending time together and finding some space for yourself. Everything we could have possibly needed was stocked in the house; they thought of everything. The house was immaculate. The online guidebook they provide answered all of our questions; I have never seen something so organized in any other vacation rental. For the few questions we had during our trip, someone was available to answer my texts immediately. The location was excellent, easy walkability and proximity to the airport. The group was thrilled with their stay and we all agreed we would come back and book this house again. The seamlessness of every aspect of the trip allowed these 6 moms to really have a true vacation. Thank you!

We loved this property! It was a quick walk to downtown and to Ruth Hardy park (which our kiddos loved). The pool / hot tub were great- lots of pool toys. The home was well maintained and stocked with nice cooking supplies- which we really appreciated. The house was clean, and well stocked. The rental company was easy to work with and we will definitely come back!

We have been staying in the area for many years, but this was our first time in Palm Springs proper. Wonderful home and property, an easy walk from town. Everything you could need in a rental, fast and dependable WiFi, enjoyable layout, great kitchen, good water pressure, comfortable beds, easy to use pool and spa. TVs are a little confusing when it comes to accessing traditional networks, sports, etc., streaming services only as far as we could tell. Wonderful, big park 5 minute walk away with tennis courts, playground for kids, and lots of space. Pretty good drive (30-40 minutes) if you’re planning on golf in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, or La Quinta. Very clean and stylish home, would stay in it again for sure. Overall worthy of the premium price.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The communication with the management company was prompt and professional. The home was well stocked with everything you could need. The kids had a blast with the pool and hot tub. Would recommend to anyone who is coming to Palm Springs.

We LOVED this house. The pictures are accurate - this house is so wonderful. Well-appointed, excellent gathering spaces inside and out, comfortable beds, beautiful decor. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. But mostly, the outdoor space was just perfect. Would recommend to anyone. It did indeed feel like our own private resort. Fabulous.

This was the best vacation home that we have rented in Palm Springs. The house is perfect, just a pictured in the photos. Lots of room and sitting areas, comfortable beds, perfect location and spectacular outdoor area. Outside, the pool had sun and shade, hot tub, a gas fire pit and several comfortable seating areas. We were in heaven and rarely wanted to leave. The property management company was very great to work with. The alarm went off when we checked into the house and the after hours answering service was rude and very difficult to work with but once they we were finally able to communicate with the property management company, they were very professional and gave us the alarm code immediately. Otherwise, everything was flawless and a perfect get-away.

Y'all - this place is great! We have been using VRBO for 15+ years and we all agreed this is the best place we have ever stayed. House is gorgeous - fun mid-century modern, nicely decorated, so well stocked I could have cooked a full Thanksgiving meal, super clean, and just an overall fun house. Property is well maintained - loved the pool and fire pit and used both every day. Very clear instructions provided in house on how to use things/where to find things. Management company is top-notch - had an issue with the ice maker the first day and they sent someone out within an hour of me calling. Sent check in instructions 2 weeks in advance, and checked in by text in the meantime and before checkout. I don't know if I'll ever find a house this cool or a management company this good ever again - they've ruined all other VRBO for me! As for Palm Springs - yes, even in July we LOVED it. The neighborhood is gorgeous and safe. Close to shopping and dining. Easy off-street parking at the property. Did a little exploring (Red Jeep tours, Living Desert Zoo, and Palm Springs Aerial Tram - my favorite), but best of all was just hanging at the house using the pool. Yes it was like sitting in an oven - yes we all loved it. Don't hesitate - book this place now. You won't regret it.

We've been making an annual week-long trek to Palm Springs for the last couple of years. This is the first time we stayed at this house and have decided it is our favorite so far. The layout is ideal for families having the adults/kids in one area and grandparents in another. There's plenty of space between the kitchen, dining, and living room. The pool is incredible. It's as if the palm trees were strategically placed to maximize shade throughout the day. All of the amenities are top notch. We really didn't need (or want) to leave the house except for food. I'd highly recommend anyone renting this property for their next getaway.
