Stayed Jan 1, 1Great location, quiet but very close to town centre and an easy walk to the beach. House was very well equipped, garden was a lovely sun trap, beds were very comfortable, good communal kitchen. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay as seven adults and a dog, would stay again!

Stayed Jan 1, 1My family and I had a great long weekend at West Cliff. It was near to the high street and a short walk to the beach. It was clean and well equipped with a fantastic playroom which our grandson loved. It was ideal for all 3 generations and we had a great stay.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Lovely house and perfect for a family of 8 ( plus dog). One criticism only. We found a wallet left by the previous occupants under a bed and a used nappy. When we reported the wallet outside of the agent’s normal office hours nobody returned our call so we tracked down the owner ourselves. Otherwise a lovely place.

Stayed Jan 1, 1This cottage is perfectly refurbished and kitted out. A short walk to the main street (great bakery and coffee.) And a swift walk to the beach via the Neptune pub. We come to whitsable every year and this is the best house we've had yet!

Stayed Jan 1, 1Enjoyed being able to leave the car behind for the whole time we were there and walk to the beaches, High Street, shops restaurants and bars. The house was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the spacious kitchen with bifold doors overlooking the pretty garden.

Stayed Jan 1, 1I stayed at West Cliff for a weekend in January with seven friends and it was perfect. The house is stunning, decorated to a high spec, spacious and comfortable. We spent lots of time in the kitchen diner, a wonderful entertaining space and enjoyed cocktails in the front living room in the evenings. The bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. The house is conveniently situated in a quiet street, minutes away from the high street. I would highly recommend The Whitstable Oyster Company, Samphire and Porto wine bar, all a short walk away. I couldn’t fault West Cliff. We loved it so much, we’ve booked again.

Stayed Jan 1, 1West Cliff is a stunning house - decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We stayed here for a long weekend in January for my husbands 70th birthday and this house was just perfect. We ate at the Whitstable Oyster company and La Turka and also cooked a Sunday roast in the beautiful kitchen which had every utensil you can imagine available to use. The 8 of us played board games and cards around the dining table often and we made good use of the ping pong table too. We made so many lovely memories to look back on. The youngsters also enjoyed a cold dip in the sea and a salt scrub and sauna The beds were very comfortable and I cant praise the place enough. It was perfect in every way and I now want a utility and boot room that I cant fit in to my house lol xxx

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house appears a little unpromising on arrival, but once inside it reveals a beautifully refurbished, comfortable and spacious house. It suited our family very well, providing for all ages, but especially for the children who enjoyed the garden, the games room and the abundance of books and toys. It was well placed for access to the high street in Whitstable and a short walk for all requirements. The showering/bathing facilities were ample for 8 of us and featured quality fixtures and fittings. The beds were comfortable and again had high quality bedding. In all, the house felt very homely, the owners obviously had renovated and furnished it very sympathetically and generously. There were a couple of niggles. The parking was not always easy. On arrival we were not able to park to unload and had to walk quite a way with luggage. I think this is probably a feature of Whitstable in high season and caused by visitors like us! There was no cafetière for coffee at the first breakfast but this was resolved by the agents by the next day. We also had difficulty with the induction hob, which worked on the first day, but not thereafter. We reported this to the agents and were given some advice, but as all of these strategies had already been tried (with the help of Google) we were left exasperated. There are no instruction manuals to refer to. This was also the case with the television which I would have liked to watch on the last evening but without a guide found it impossible to work.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024We loved your house, it was such a wonderful position in town and no distance from one the greatest cafes near the beach. There was lots of space in the house, the garden was beautiful. Showers and hot water was excellent, lots of activities in the house too and wifi excellent. We lucked out on the weather and the stained glass was gorgeous. There was unfortunately no cafetiere which was a shame as this stopped us having a relaxing early morning coffee in the sunshine waiting for everyone to gather themselves.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We wanted to carry on our routine with the kids the time to empty our house during the last week of school. The house is at good walking distance of Joy Lane Primary school, closes to the shops in town. Westcliff meets our requiments. The kids loved the toys at disposal in the sitting room, the basement with the ping pong table. It was easy to used the washing machines and dryer to travel light. Unfortunately we couldn’t open the windows to renew the air ( opening system was very fragile ) and it was a struggle to find a parking space on this narrow street. Except those 2 points, we will remember forever the choice of the colours on each walls in Westcliff house.
