Welcoming 5-bedroom lakefront house with WiFi in charming Big Lake

Four of us stayed here for 2 nights in this well decorated home. As someone mentioned earlier, it has a unique layout with 3 bedrooms in the basement and a half bath to share. The full bath for these bedrooms is up a few stairs across from the front door. The master is on the main floor with a king bed, desk and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs has a bedroom with the bath across the loft area. There’s a nice sitting area in the basement as well as in the loft on the second floor. The house was very clean, showers were fine, and the towels were big – and smelled good! The large backyard overlooks the lake with a small stream going through it. You can access it through the full length porch on the backside of the house. The kitchen has the basics (but no wine opener or wine glasses). It’s in a neighborhood on a gravel road and very quiet. We enjoyed staying here.

Large, beautifully home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed morning coffee on the large deck watching loons on the lake with regular visits by two curious Sandhill cranes.. It was just over an hour drive to Talkeetna or Anchorage where we spent most of our days. Then back home to grill burgers or salmon for dinner and more time to relax in a peaceful environment.

Such a beautiful home and beautiful location. Was perfect for our weekend trip. Thank you!
