Overall, the stay was good, however, we requested to have the batteries in a smoke alarm upstairs changed and that never occurred during our stay. As such, we had to sleep through a beeping alarm.

It's an awesome experience and we highly recommend it! We tried the Yellowstone house this year. The layout was much better than our last home in The Lookout. But, several items needed to be replaced in the house. Most items in the garage game room were broken when we arrived, including the ping pong table net, the paddles, the pool sticks, and both of the bikes. Also, when we went to check out, the dish washer did not seem to work (we washed dishes by hand during out stay so didn't notice previously). Finally, the bed and pillows in the master bedroom were materially worn down. None of this stopped us from having an amazing vacation and we still enjoyed the house. The firepit in the back was great for smores. The home's location is great for pool access with the kids. And, we managed to figure out how to prop up the broken ping pong table net, so the kids could still enjoy it. All and all, a great vacation and we will come back to The Lookout community again!

The location of the Yellowstone was perfect, close to both pools, and the shuttle pickup service.The home is perfect size for the family. There is definitely some wear and tear, especially with regard to kitchen amenities--very dull knives. Several faucets needed tightening and fortunately my husband always brings tools. The garage code had been changed so we couldn't access it until they let us know on the 2nd day. It would be great if there were at least four porch chairs--we love sitting on the porch watching life go by. The lake was fabulous.

The children loved the bunk room it were disappointed that the commercial video arcade console that was advertised on the listing was not included with our rental. The kitchen was well appointed and the premises were clean and tidy. The master bedroom on the second level does get quite warm even with the vents wide open. The master bath window in the shower is not frosted so neighbors across the street will have a view :)

Yes I could get critical about only having 2 wine glasses and that management has to contact owner to get more when your your paying thousands of $....what?? Or that pool table (please replace it) that was way out of level and the pockets that fall out of the table but the boys still liked it.

For one example: two wine glasses for a home that sleeps 12 located in wine country? Really? That's the best you can do? For a home that is over $1200 a night?
