House definitely is showing signs of wear. Cabinets falling off. Microwave doesn’t heat at all. Downstairs toilet didn’t flush properly. Balcony door upstairs seemed off the track.

Beautiful home! Very clean. I moved from NY to NJ and needed a place to stay for 2 weeks. This home met everything on my list and then some.Very comfortable, convenient to shops and train to NY.My two kids loved it so much that wanted to know if this home was for sale. Highly recommend this place.

The house was overall very clean and served its purpose. We used the house as our stay for a wedding weekend. One of the main beds didn’t have a fitted sheet on the mattress, but we were able to find one in the linen closet and put it on ourselves. The checkout instructions are a lot, with fines associated with failure to complete. One instruction was to wash the towels, and the house did not have detergent.

There was a cutout in the wall in the upstairs bathroom that appeared to lead to an attic. I could not tell how this room was accessed but very unsettling. Sheets on one of the beds were stained and looked like they had not been cleaned. No hand towels or washcloths. When we arrived all the windows were unlocked which was also surprising as the neighborhood does not feel terribly safe. The tone of the guest book and threats of additional charges was also off putting.

I want to first start by saying I never write reviews but I just couldn’t let this one go. The house was nice but there were issues that I experienced on this trip. First start with the backyard that was used as a litter box. It was disgusting, not only had cat feces but smelled like cat urine. When I asked for pictures of the backyard, none were provided. Needless to say my grandkids nor I ever used the backyard during this stay. In their description there was a hot tub listed but there was none. The property listed spectacular views from the balcony but you couldn’t open the door to get onto that said balcony. The living room couch also served as a double bed which when you pulled out the lower half it unfortunately had splinters throughout. Also there were some dirty dishes in the cupboard. There was a checkout binder with a list of tasks that had to be completed by 11am. First, all of the bath and beach towels “wash separately” had to be washed/dried and folded. Second, you had to strip all the beds of all linens and placed in the laundry room. This was quite challenging with little ones while doing your normal packing. If any of these tasks were not completed you will be charged an additional fee. Then to top it off the smoke alarm kept beeping all through the last night. Lastly the beach is riddled with shards of glass and corona bottles. Garbage spewed throughout the beach. Needless to say I will not be staying there again.

The place was perfect for my weekend getaway with my friends. The host was always patient with my questions and easy to contact. The place was well kept and plenty of extra supplies were also provided. The aesthetic of the house was very cozy and beachy and I loved the interior layout and design of the house. The house being down the street from the beach and a few lovely brunch spots was also perfect. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely consider revisiting for the future.
