Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My grown kids and their families helped select the house that was large and comfortable enough for 8 of us. Unfortunately, their father, my husband passed away on 7/30/25. We decided that we should still go for 3 days to get away. I wasn't into crowds or really wanting to do much. I found my solace with a book on the lovely front porch with fans reading a book. The house was very clean and nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We would come back again. The shuttles run you to the lake and pool. It's a wonderful experience. We hated to leave.

Every detail, from the decor to the bedding and furniture, is of the highest quality, inspiring me to make some upgrades in my own home. The layout is both beautiful and functional, making it perfect for a large group. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the jacuzzi near the pool, with its stunning hilltop view overlooking the lake. The daily adventures of the Lookout were complemented perfectly by this serene retreat. We’d return in a heartbeat!

The carriage house was a bonus allowing us to invite family friends to join us and still giving them some privacy. The common area was great. Super clean and well stocked and in a central location with easy access to amenities. We loved our stay!

I wish I knew there was construction prior to coming - it was right outside and pretty loud on Thursday PM/Friday AM. But otherwise, great!
