Bearfeet Retreat was wonderful! Close to Crosby, great location on the lake. The house was perfect, clean, and had everything to make our stay memorable!

Beautiful views and direct lake access. Spent a lot of time ice fishing and playing games and was a perfect winter weekend retreat for our family.

Everything was great, including the Northern Lights the night before we left. We'll be coming back.

Beautiful place right in the lake!

We absolutely loved our weekend here. House was well stocked and had pretty much anything you could need in the kitchen. The backyard was the selling point for us, perfect for families to unwind and unplug. We will be returning!

Kitchen seemed to be properly equipped (although we really only used the coffee maker and some plates. Great natural light! While at the cabin, we enjoyed the great backyard and sat by the lake.

We had a great stay! The big open kitchen & living area was perfect. The outdoor fire pit was beautiful. It was a little further away from things than we anticipated but ended up to be just what we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Great place! The house had so many games for both adults and kids. Plenty of kitchen items. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Fished off the dock daily. Excellent fire pit area. Would recommend.

What a beautiful lake home to enjoy family time at the lake! We loved the lay out of the home. The backyard and firepit were great for evening s’mores and lawn games that are provided. We enjoyed access to paddleboards and kayaks on the quiet lake. Clean, beautiful, would love to return!

We had a great stay and the cabin was updated and so cute. Had lots to games and the yard and bonfire pit was awesome. We loved the layout and it was perfect for two families staying together and still have privacy. The owner was great and communicated well. We will def be back in the future if we need a place in the area!

We loved our stay and it fit all of our needs! The host was very accommodating with our last minute change in plans to stay here instead of tent camping due to the weather. The home was clean, comfortable, great size for our family! We enjoyed the backyard fire pit every night and the kids spent a lot of their free time fishing off the dock catching tons of fish! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful. We were able to use the kayaks for the water activities. It kept our kids busy for hours. It was a great location and house for our summer family vacation. Would definitely stay again!

The property was as clean and scenic as we expected based on the photos. Mike, the owner, was responsive and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to others looking for a great lakeside experience.

It was a perfect weekend to be away from everyday life and just relax!

The home was clean and what we expected. My only complaint was the dishes, pots & pans etc. There were just a couple short glass glasses & only 1 tall glass glass. Lots & lots of plastic glasses & plates & bowls. The pots & pans were aluminum thrift store quality. Whatever they could find. So update the dishes & pots & pans and get a set of nice wine glasses and some glass glasses for adults. The house , lake, and firepit were very nice I would come again.

This VRBO site surpassed my wants and needs in a lake home! The check-in/check-out process was easy. Mike's communication was top notch! The location was peaceful and in a quiet neighborhood. We went during March, so, the lake was still frozen. We did a bit of ice fishing and walking around the lake. Home was aesthetically beautiful and clean. I would definitely recommend to others.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the cities for a few days. We chose the lake house for its proximity to Crosby, the view of the lake from the bedroom and living area, and the large sectional. The place exceeded our expectations- snuggling up on the couch, cooking in the open kitchen, sleeping late in the comfy king bed - and best of all, watching the sun set over the lake. And, we were able to bring our little dog along. We wil be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this cabin, our third time here. The hosts are great and the home is lovely!

2 years on a row up for New Years! Love the peace and quiet but Less than 20 min to 3 great small local towns for fun!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights with our 14 and 20 year old boys. And our 2 pups. Very clean. Great location. Adorable home. We walked the neighborhoods and also hiked some nearby places. Beautiful! The ONLY thing I would say is we wished the mattresses were more comfortable. We could never have done a week. Which is what we like to do in the summer. Maybe it was just us otherwise it was a very nice place.

My wife and I just needed a comfortable place to stay while doing some survey work in the area. Big deal for us is that the photos and descriptions are an accurate depiction of the property and they were. We were looking for a nice out-of-the-way cabin with a Lakeview and it lived up to expectations. Owners were very helpful when we had a couple hiccups trying to check in in the dark. Very responsive. We stayed here over an October weekend for a family getaway and could not have been more pleased. This home had plenty of space, great amenities, and on a quiet property. The host was quick to respond to any question I had. We all agreed that we would like to come back again.

This is the second yr my daughter, sister in law & I have stayed there. We have enjoyed it so much. The house is clean & has everything needed for our stay. Great place for a getaway & relax. Wonderful view from the house to the lake. Definitely recommend a stay.

Beautiful lake home, on a beautiful lake. Many opportunities for family fun; swimming, fishing, fire pit, games, meal prep. would have liked some cross ventilation in living room and kitchen, but overall wonderful experience.

This was a perfect cabin for a quiet weekend away. We loved exploring the small lake on paddle boards and enjoyed bonfires in the evenings. We would love to come back!

We visited the Brainerd Lakes area with our family of 4 for a week and this was a great home base for all our summer fun! We loved the kayaks and used them every day. The cabin had a ton of amenities, extremely well stocked kitchen, many board games, good WiFi, two grills (Weber and a Traeger) and more (check the listing). And it was nice to stay somewhere that is more quiet than the more popular lakes in the area.

We had a wonderful family week 'Up North'! This was our third year staying at this cabin and we hopefully will have many more.
