This is probably the hardest review I've had to write. I was torn. There is no question that this is a great location, a nice setup, a bargain price, and a very well-loved house... really, a home. The owners communicated well, maybe even too well. The notes taped to the wall were a bit much for my taste, but I understand them. I've hosted and had the kind of experiences that lead to that... but still.The parking is fantastic. The view of the lake is great. The backyard and porches give you plenty of outdoor space. The basement was very comfortable (and the better TV room). Pool table. You can comfortably split up couples or families and feel like you have your own space while still being together. We shared with my kids, in-laws, and brother-in-law. Nobody was in anyone's way or too close for comfort.The hard truth is, the house is a bit worn. I talked to the host about it, and I believe they'll make improvements. I don't consider any of it false advertising. You can tell from the pictures that it isn't updated. So, I communicated the issues to the hosts. None were deal breakers. At this price point, it's a steal even if they fix none of it.The beds are very firm. The pillows and blankets are thin. If you like a different style, you may want to bring your own. The kitchen is dated but has everything you could possibly need.The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.I would absolutely stay here again. If you have a huge group, ask about their neighbor.

My family and myself loved the property very clean..Everyone njoyd the fishing..we grilled..quiet and safe neighborhood we will be returning back to this property soon

Thank you for letting us spend our wedding weekend here at your house. Everything was great! Amazing location on the water and the house was very clean and spacious. Bedrooms are huge and almost everyone had their own bathroom.

A dozen family members stayed here for a wedding in Huntersville, and this property was absolutely perfect! Its Lake Norman location is lovely and very convenient. Having a bath in nearly every bedroom was wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. I would highly recommend this VRBO for other large families!

The property manager, Patty, was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The house was everything we could have hoped for, for our annual family vacation. We had families from RI, NH and NC and we all had plenty of space. The house is beautiful and the lake was amazing. We swam, fished and floated on our floaties. We kayaked with the kayaks we brought, and had a wonderful time on our pontoon boat, which we were able to bring and dock at the private dock. The walk down to the water was nicely paved. Getting in and out of the water was a bit challenging for the family members who were older and had knee issues, as the only way in and out of the water was with the ladder on the dock. Other than that, everything was perfect!

We had our four children, their spouses and all four grandchildren for the local Hot Air Balloon Fest. Fantastic weekend, the home was perfect! Everything as expected and better.

The house was perfect. This was a women retreat. We had more than enough rooms and space for everyone. The house itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house was well stocked with pots,pans, and utensils. It also had lots of games to entertain if you have children. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely choose this house again for our retreat. Thanks again Ms.Patty for allowing us to use your house. You are an excellent host.
