Beautiful house with gorgeous views!! House is roomy and was comfortable for 8 of us. Well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds, quality bath towels, several cozy throws in the living area. My teens loved the kayaks. Host was friendly and responsive. Great place to stay!

Our family had a great time together at this lake house. Awesome quiet location. The house had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the kayaks. Fire pit was great also. Great hiking spots a few minutes away at Fern Cliff State Park.

Great place right on the lake! Inside was super clean and more than enough room for our girls trip of 5 friends . We floated on rafts at the dock and had a very relaxing weekend of catching up!

Absolutely love the house on the inside and such an amazing kitchen. Very clean on the inside. The only negative would be outside. The deck needs improvement as well as the steps leading down to the water. The dock is absolutely perfect! Easy check-in and easy checkout.

This house was perfect for our family get-away with friends. It was exactly as described, check in was easy & Laura was very quick to respond to all messages - before & during our stay. This house was probably the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. Plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, etc. The location on the lake (in a little cove) gave us calm waters and a natural limit for the kids to kayak. Like any house, there's a few quirky features but nothing that detracts from the quality.

We had a great time and there was plenty of room. Yeah

Had an issue this year with the right boat slip where it previously had a lift. On the right side it had a piece of metal that did significant damage to the boat, scratching and gouging the side. High water at the beginning of the week did not help and probably contributed to the problem.Strongly suggest removing the metal from the side of the dock and block off immediately.

Beautiful and spotless home with a super view! Hosts were easy to communicate with. Would seriously book multiple stays if it was available!

The house was very clean. Linens were in great shape! Towels were amazing. We loved the basket of blankets/throws. The small pool table was a huge hit! Everyone played at some point of our visit. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. We wished the weather had been warmer so we could have used the outdoor space. Lake view was beautiful & relaxing. We would rent again if we are meeting in Southern Illinois. Our group came from NW Indiana, Chicago and Atlanta.

Great house, private location on Lake of Egypt. Beautiful setting. Very spacious, very clean. Host was very accommodating and very responsive. Great communications. All in all a good value. Just wish we had caught more fish....;)

We’ve stayed at a variety of houses along Lake of Egypt over the years and this was easily one of our favorite stays. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. Nicely remodeled and very clean. Will definitely stay again. Only complaint is they need to upgrade the grill. They did such a nice job with the house, but clearly skimmed on the cheap charcoal grill, which was filthy.

Welcoming Host, clean home right on Lake Egypt on a peaceful cove. Would stay again for sure and had 2 Kayaks with paddles available but remember to bring your own life jackets. Suggest for new kayakers maybe rent wider kayak for more stable experience. Dock has 2 covered jet skis that are not part of rental and suggest having one of those dock spaces open to launch kayaks. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Had plenty of choices of chairs for outside seating and waited until last day to eat breakfast on deck and wished had tried that earlier as relaxing space shaded with a tree most of the day.

This was the third time we stayed here. The accommodations are perfect for us. The house is immaculate, tastefully decorated, and is furnished with comfortable beds. The deck and dock make it a fun place for us to hang out.

Our family was impressed with the indoor accommodations. We felt it to be very clean and probably the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed. Feeding all of us was never and issue we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. A suggested improvement would be the stairs/path to get the dock are in need of an update, Overall a great stay, thank you.

We used the recommended boat rental and it was a blast! Everything was there that you would need from linens,towel's and basic essentials! Kitchen was fully stocked …. Just bring you own food! Only complaint was upper and lower deck could use a good cleaning ?
