Waterfront (Sunset-front) 4BR/3BA Family Getaway

This house is amazing. The view is incredible! We saw bald eagles and harriers from the dining room table! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from lots of silverware to a cocktail shaker! The bedrooms are comfy!! Everything was clean and cute! Loved the decor! We had a great time with parents and our kids. Easy walk to an incredible beach! Magical! Hosts were great! No issues. The house was among the most well laid out and stocked vacation homes my wife and I have ever rented through VRBO. My parents who are not notoriously financially tight, spends raved about the value of renting the home.

Beautifully decorated and fabulous amenities. Sunsets on the upper porch were stunning. Morning walks on the beach were lovely. Highly recommend this gorgeous spot.

We had a wonderful time in this beach house. The location was perfect for our family vacation. I loved the amazing views of the sound behind the house. The sunsets were truly spectacular from any of the back decks. We loved how thoughtfully the house was designed to provide lots of communal space on the second floor and then plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax on the upper bedroom floors. The owners were great communicators and we found the house easily with their instructions. Parking is at a premium in Wells Beach but the driveway worked for our bigger rental suv and we appreciated the easy storage space below the house to store beach gear and clean up after a day on the beach. The house was great for cooking meals and we appreciated the bbq grill as well. We didn’t need it but the ac units were nice to have just in case. There are plenty of stairs so might be something to consider for older family members and very young children. We had no trouble with them and loved the elevated views from the house. We had such a wonderful visit! Renee was a very responsive, kind host and it’s evident by the thoughtful decoration that she and her husband take pride in the property. The house was just as described, with gorgeous sunset views of the marsh. Very clean and comfortable. This was our second attempt at staying here, due to an unfortunate cancellation on our part, and I’m so glad it lived up to our expectations. Plenty of room for my husband and I, our almost-4 year old and my mom. We even had a couple of visitors stop by and all fit quite nicely with room to spare. The only downside is the parking limitation but the hosts and listing are very upfront about this, so we knew what to expect. It’s a small price to pay for being so close to the beach. Parking at the jetty is an easy half mile walk back. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

We’ve been coming to this property for five years, and each stay somehow feels better than the last. It’s the perfect spot for our family to relax, recharge, and enjoy Maine’s natural beauty. The home is always clean, well-appointed, and comfortable—clearly cared for with great attention to detail.During our most recent stay, a few small things came up, and the hosts were exceptionally responsive and kind, going above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of quickly. Their communication and hospitality are just another reason we keep coming back year after year.Highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for a special place to create lasting memories.

We had a fantastic time at this property! The house was spotless and the space was wonderful! We had four bedrooms that were all comfortable. The outdoor space was incredible.We had a fabulous weekend!

We had a 3-generation family weekend and loved everything about it. The house has everything you need, is laid out in a way that everyone has space and privacy, and everything from furniture to mattresses was super comfortable. Initially we thought we might be missing out by not being directly on the ocean, but we actually found that we preferred the river side. We could watch the area transform with the changing tides and whenever we wanted to spend time on the ocean side it was literally across the street. In short, everyone had what they wanted when they wanted it. Parking was tight, but the owners were very upfront and clear about that (and it is typical for all homes in the area). We were able to leave a couple of cars for overnight parking at a lot about 10 minutes away from the house. While at the house you feel like you're away from everything but in reality, you're literally just a few minutes from grocery stores, etc if you need something. We are a family who typically likes to explore new areas but everyone said they would happily return to this place (which says a lot).

The property is conveniently located steps from the beach. Cozy newly renovated home. All the amenities you can imagine. We stay here each Christmas. Host and hostess are very responsive.

Great home, great location, great views from all the decks, and all in one package! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of amenities. We had a 2-minute walk to the beach and a 10–15-minute walk to the center of town. The home is very convenient to Wells (of course), Ogunquit and Kennebunk. Plenty of dining and things to do with the kids. As others have commented, the only thing is the parking. You can only fit, at best, 2 SUV's so folks might want to plan ahead if additional parking is needed. Both Aaron and Renee were great hosts and available if needed. We definitely recommend this home, and we will rent again!

Sit back and relax with a glass of rosé on one of the many decks and take in the beautiful views!! My family and I enjoyed a week long stay at this gorgeous home. Directly across the beach, we were able to walk across the street and enjoy some beach days. The home is also very close to Kennebunkport for a fun day of shopping and is also close to Ogunquit for some night life. A five star stay!
