Waterfront stilt cottage on the open Gulf of Mexico will make you feel like you`re on a houseboat!

Loved the privacy of this property. Love the easy check in Property was in good shape with great view of ocean when the tide is in. Pretty beach decorations in house The one thing that needs attention is the wood deck needs some repair. It has some soft wood with possibility of an accent

No bad clean but outdated house did feel like it had a hard lean but all in all a nice place

Great host, super good with communication, clean, organized and comfortable. The Stilt House is exactly what we wanted, lots of character and maybe last “old school” residence surviving the hurricane in the immediate area. Most everything walking distance.

Beautiful views, easy access to all the local hotspots, loved being able to walk the beach under the house when tides were low

Great place to sit and enjoy the waterfront view (birds, boats and dolphins), with an exceptional angle for seeing summer sunrises. Check-in was easy, and the kitchen well stocked with essential cooking tools. Lots of space inside to lounge and read when not enjoying the sights from the deck. We would come back for sure.

Really enjoyed the cottage! Great natural light from windows with living room and bedroom water views. Really is perfect for a couple and the trundle bed (not used) would add the kids option if desired with playground within view of balcony. Next time I’ll use kayaks provided. Bed was comfortable and tv had all you could ever need. AC’s were perfect with cool air all night, especially if you pick side where air flows right on to the bed. Very nicely stocked! Dollar General is only real “grocery” store so hit that on the way in for snacks, water, etc. Steamers seafood literally 2 blocks straight down from cottage for fresh seafood options. It’s cool to have the stilt cottage where everyone else is Condo’s (share walls). Really enjoyed the relaxing visit and management is very responsive and helpful!

Host was extremely quick and helpful. Home was adorable and comfortable. Hopefully, the house will always be available on our future visits. We loved watching dolphins all day on the deck.

We recently stayed at this home, and while it had its positives, there were some notable drawbacks.The home itself was clean, well-equipped, and boasted a stunning ocean view. Check-in was straightforward, and the residents were friendly and welcoming.However, we encountered some issues. The floors were noticeably sloping, which wasn't disclosed prior to our rental. The driveway was frequently blocked by construction workers' vehicles from the neighboring property.We also had trouble spending time outside due to the poor condition of the patio chairs - one out of the 2 chairs, even broke under my partner's weight. Although, we contacted the management company, there was no resolution, hence leaving us to stand on the front patio. The yard was often used by others to take in the ocean view, which compromised our privacy.Additionally, the garbage can was located about 200 feet away from the home, in front of another building, making daily trash disposal inconvenient.While the home had its charm, the ongoing construction just 15 feet from our front steps generated excessive noise and dust, detracting from our overall experience.

My husband and I flew in on a small plane for my birthday getaway. There were golf carts waiting by the airport for us to get around on the island. A flight following service had lost contact with us so the police showed up to make sure we were okay. How nice! It was easy to find our cottage and we couldn’t have been more pleased! It was clean, had everything we needed and was absolutely charming! Better than the pictures. Highly recommend this property and the service was seamless for check-in and out. This was a great experience for us. I think we will be back.

It was just a very strange area which unfortunately appears in decline. I feel sorry for them. The house was ok, but needed more refreshing, just like the entire city. I wish them the best, but we likely will not be back.

This property had one of the best views I've ever seen! We watched the dolphins every day from our balcony and visited the beach, which was only steps away! The community was unbelievable and everyone was so nice and welcoming! The communication with the property manager was spot on and very accommodating! If you love the beach and the ocean this property is perfect for you!

Nothing to complain about very comfortable. Parking at the cottage can be tricky but manageable. We would definitely stay there again. Bring your binoculars we so wish we had.

Lovely serene views, cute beach house. Awesome location. Overall very relaxing stay. Constructive criticism, 1 washcloth, 0 trash bags, rug in bedroom removed (stinky) floors need scrubbing. Thank you though, otherwise perfect.
