Waterfront San Jacinto River Home w/ Boat Slip!

We stayed with a family of 5. The kids loved the dock for fishing and the pool right next to the water. The dock is very nice with a ton of seating, cover from the sun and rod holders. The entire family was out there most nights. You can catch an interesting variety of salt water and fresh water fish. The host was very helpful and responsive. The house is comfortable with so much outdoor/indoor seating we didn't even get to use it all. The location is quite secluded and not really in a touristy area. Nearly a 20 minute drive to restaurants, groceries and other amenities. To be fair, however, everything in the Houston area seems to be decent drive, so my impression is that's not unusual. And the positive is, there's almost no traffic around the property.

The property was great, the dock was amazing and we enjoyed the pool! It was just what we needed for 4th of July weekend and we saw fireworks from the top of the boat dock.

A great place to stay with your family. It has a little something for everyone to do on this property. We fished, swam, cooked outside & took our buggys to the xtreme off road park for some fun & came back to relax at a quiet secluded house towards the end of the street.

The house was beautiful, had everything you needed . If I needed anything they responded quickly. Everything was clean all family members kept busy they had fun yard games . The decks all over were my favorite. You could sit in the sun or if it got to hot you could sit in the shade 😎. Sit on the swing hanging over the water. I would highly recommend for the perfect family vacation. It was so close to things to do . We went to the space center only about 45 min drive . The pool was really awesome being in front of the river so beautiful at night with all the lights out in the deck area and swimming area. I never wanted to leave . Thank you for this wonderful time we spent in your home. Planning on coming back again .

Peaceful place in the river. Really enjoyed our stay. Good amenities with about everything you would need. We would consider staying here again.

This property was exactly what we needed! (We didn’t need ask the rain from the tropical storm though.) We enjoyed all aspects of the home, inside & out. There were a few things that needed to be updated but otherwise, we have no complaints.

We went on a cousin's weekend treat at this fabulous house, secluded, privet, beautiful and very well equipped!

My daughter and I came to Rio Villa for a funeral. My grandmother passed and had lived down there for 70 years. We were, by some miracle, able to stumble on this little gem. Exactly what we needed and we were able to share The River one more time w our families! A million thanks to the incredibly kind and accomidating owners. It was a wonderful summer vacation home. Wish we could of stayed longer. Hope to be back soon.
